I try not to take myself too seriously and outside of work I’m a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy. I’m a runner (although I guess technically I’m not going fast enough to call it ‘running’...) I’ve been doing it regularly for over a year and love the way it makes me feel. I’m very much a DIY person around the house. Ever seen ‘The Money Pit’ with Tom Hanks? It’s been a little bit like that for the past few years. It’ll be great when it’s finished though ... [sigh]’d be most at home in an Irish Pub with live music. I’m a bit of a ‘beer snob’ though - and a coffee snob too (but I’I love to cook - I really enjoy discovering and attempting new recipes.’ll ever have in your life, an amazing ribeye on the grill, and I bet you'll love my chocolate chip cookies too.I love to read, and I’m fascinated by history, so those two things often go hand in hand. I read every day, even if it’s just a few pages before bed. I was raised Catholic but am not very religious in my daily life. But I am open to the idea of rekindling that with the right person.I love to travel, I like to try to take a trip at least once a year, somewhere I’ve never been. My interest in history often helps me choose where to travel.And as you can see I’ve got a dog. He’s super-energetic, outgoing, friendly, and loves to play. If we were a comedy duo, I would be the straight man and he would definitely be the comic. He’s certainly more than just a pet, so we are a package deal. And he has to like you too, but don’t worry too much about that - he (really really really) likes EVERYBODY. I can't count on him at all to be a judge of character! ;) He will be thrilled to meet you (he won't be the least bit shy), and you can expect to get that same level of passionate exuberance every time you're around him. So I'll tell you my ideal partner is really going to need to love dogs, because I can guarantee my dog is really going to love you.I know myself pretty well, and I’m an ISTJ personality. I'm a rational, responsible, organized person with a basically peaceful and quiet demeanor. If my life were made into a movie, I’ve been told that Tobey Maguire would be a great choice to play me. I don’t feel a need to be the center of attention. And if you go for the 'bad boy' thing, you won't get that with me. I think I keep myself in decent shape, I’m handy around the house and pretty good in the kitchen (all IMHO of course)!I'm looking for a woman with a kind heart who is both motivated and capable of giving as good as she gets.
