About Me

So here it goes. I like to take advantage of anything that is warm weather related! I play golf whenever I can, and enjoy going to my families lake cottage to fish and swim. At least once a year, I plan a trip to the beach to surf and soak in the sun! In the winter time I head to the mountains to go snowboarding. I also enjoy hunting and fishing, which I now enjoy with my son and daughter. And at the age of 8 she will spend all day fishing with daddy and complain when it is time to leave! That being said, I am not a redneck, I am a firm believer that camouflage only has its place out in the woods, not out in public!!! LOL. I have two children that are the world to me, and make me realize everyday what is truly important in life. I feel blessed that many of the things and activities that are very special to me, have also become favorites of theirs. Those who know me best might say that I am the type of person that will go way out of his way to help a friend, and often even a perfect stranger. I am looking for someone that has similar interests as myself (a golf partner would be great, but not required…LOL). I have been separated for almost two years and other than my daughter, I am ready to close that chapter of my life. If you want to know anything more about me, all you need to do is ask, I am pretty much an open book. I think a first date should be kept low key and with a relaxed atmosphere and no pressure. A couple drinks at a pub, or a stop at a coffee house just to see if there is something there to make plans for a second date.
