...but I found them every time! I hope they found good homes.I'm a smart, educated, and attractive man looking for the same (only in a woman). I have a wicked sense of humor and can make anybody laugh at any time. I can be crude and crass, and I sometimes push the limits with my humor, but I am aware of my surroundings and the company I am with, and tailor my humor to the environment. I enjoy picking on myself and laughing at myself as much as I do everybody else, and I can take it with a smile and quick wit when you poke fun at my expense.I have been told that I am very attentive - I am a details person, so I pay attention and like to ask questions. I want to get to KNOW somebody, and let them know who I am, and what I am about, and what I want. Why waste time with a person if the likes, dislikes, and commonalities are disjointed? Friendship is an important first step towards a relationship. At the same time, the only way to find out how compatible you are is to talk with said person on a frequent basis and go out often. Otherwise, it may take WEEKS or even MONTHS to find out you're not compatible.I am very affectionate, and could be (am?) labeled "touchy-feely". I know the 5 Love Languages, and which ones I am, and how to recognize and interact with the others (something I could have used a few years back). I have spent a lot of time analyzing what went wrong and how to prevent it the next (and hopefully final) time. I REALLY expect people to (mostly?) understand the English language and the proper use of "its" and "it's" and "there," they're," and "their." This is an actual profile I found - the WHOLE thing - "IM laid bk so dnt cum ta me with drama or games I hate liers." Seriously. I could not make that up! I also speak some Spanish and German (and would love to learn more and/or become fluent).I have a (fairly) stable life, a stable job, two kids (50% of the time), my own house, etc... I coach and play soccer year-round. I try to visit both of my kids' schools to have lunch with them once a week. I rarely (if ever) miss anything they do (I'm usually coaching or volunteering in some other way).I watch the news and read a lot of online news - technology, science, politics, etc... (Though I don't necessarily like TALKING politics). I know what's going on in my town, state, country, and world. Entertainment Tonight is NOT news.I'm usually always reading a computer book of sorts - picking up a new programming language, or expanding my knowledge of one I know.I'm a car guy - love sportscars (Corvettes, specifically), muscle cars, and Jeeps. I have had my mechanic's license just because I can, even though I've never been a mechanic (I'm a well-rounded car and computer geek). We camp in a tent, but the campground has clean restrooms and showers, and a heated pool. :-) I have camped in very rustic (read the middle of NOWHERE) places before, where they "may" have outhouses....I don't hunt or fish, though I don't have a problem with it; it's just not my thing. I also don't eat fish, especially if it's raw, but I do love crab legs.I am big into nature, natural beauty, and history. I have a bucket list of about 30 places to visit with the kids before they graduate - from National Parks and Monuments (a majority) to museums, battlefields, and amusement parks.- Smithsonian, Vietnam Memorial, etc...Musically I like about everything a guy my age should. I'm a huge country music fan, from Hank to Hank Jr, LOVE Chris Ledoux. I'm not afraid to don a pair of cowboy boots and a western / cowboy look. I like to play air drums in the car, and air guitar when nobody is paying attention. I am the guy that when a song come on the radio, I say, "WHO SINGS THIS?" to anybody in earshot.Lastly, and maybe you've actually read this far, but I am very picky in what I am looking for. On top of compatibility with the afore-mentioned traits, hobbies, and personality, I am looking for more of a slender, thin, or athletic body type. No offense, just my preference.I could probably ramble on all day, but I'll leave it here for now. This should give you a good idea if we'll get along, and also give you a couple ideas for conversation when we talk.Have a GREAT day! I saw this elsewhere, but I thought it was great.... We could hit the casinos with $20 or $50 each and see who gets lucky or loses first, giving us a chance to make small talk with a little bit of competetiveness.
