About Me

I'm a good guy, funny and love adventures. I really like to travel a lot but tired of doing it alone. As far as my personality, I try not to stress about things too much. Laughing is my favorite thing to do and making people laugh is what I am good at. I work hard but not so hard that I don't enjoy my life. I am not rich but have a good job and make more than enough to support a family comfortably. I love driving, so going on long road trips with someone would be great. I have never been married and don't have any kids, I want kids but I have gotten to that point in my life that if I don't have kids it's not the end of the world. So music, um I like pretty much everything, not a huge country fan though, but I do listen to some. Music is actually a big part of my life, I try and make it to local concerts whenever I can and find new music whenever I can. I'm looking for someone who is down to earth and more interested in living life *** their status in life. I don't mind at all if you have kids, in fact, I enjoy hanging out with kids, they are smarter than most adults I know ;). You can learn a lot from them if you listen. Would like someone who likes to laugh, because I love being your comic relief. I am a romantic who loves the idea of being completely in love and I have so much to give the right person. I have been told to add this little tid bit for people who are wondering why I'm 40 and have never been married and have no kids, I don't want to tell the whole story obviously, so I'll just say there was a tragedy in my life about 8 years ago that required me to put aside my own wants and take on some responsibilities I wasn't prepared for. Between work and that I had zero time to meet anyone new let alone be in a relationship with someone. Also i didn't want to bring a person into that mess, it wouldnt have been fair to them. That is all cleared up now and I am ready to settle down and have a life with someone I love. I do have a great life, amazing friends and family that are everything to me. I am someone who is open to new things and ideas, I'm a great listener because I actually want to hear what you have to say an honesty is the most important thing to me, I can't stress that enough. I have no reason to lie; NO one does if you are truly in love with the person you are with. If you have to lie then you shouldn't be in that relationship. I've been divorced since the age of 24 and never had ANY ex-wife drama. I feel that first "dates" off of a site like this are actually "FIRST MEETINGS". And as such a first meeting should be low key and stress free. We can meet at a cafe or restaurant for a coffee or a drink and proceed from there. If the chemistry is good and we click we can then decide to have dinner or extend the date however we choose. There is nothing worse than sitting down to dinner for an hour or so with someone when there is NO chemistry. lol
