Being from the East Coast, I have a pretty dry and sarcastic sense of humor. I also tend to be a little bit blunt. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. My profile says that I'm a few extra pounds and right now, I am. However, in the past 3 months, I've lost about 42 pounds. I now go to the gym 6 days a week. So if you want to base your decision of whether or not you would like to talk to me on the fact that I'm kinda chubby, go right ahead. While I'll be able to lose the weight (and plan on doing so), shallowness is a quality that you probably won't be able to lose. I'm into all kinds of stuff, including sports, music (I love Lady Gaga and dance music, but I'm into all types of stuff, everything from The Smiths and Nina Simone to Carole King and A Tribe Called Quest- I'm also a damn good cook. I have fantastic friends, a great job and an apartment in downtown Sac. I'm looking for someone goal oriented, a guy who is a good dancer and a great kisser. I also need someone who doesn't get jealous, because most of my friends are guys and they are extremely important to me.I'm a diehard Eagles and Phillies fan, love "; and "The Tudors" and read quite a bit.     Online dating is not much different than online shopping, in my opinion. You can search and search for just the right one, examine it, do research on it, imagine what it would be like to have it with you, but ultimately you're at the mercy of the seller's description and product details. Sometimes it arrives and it’s exactly what you anticipated, but after a more thorough inspection, it didn't quite meet your (almost always) unrealistic expectations. Other times you anxiously await it's arrival and when it finally appears, it's so far from what you were led to believe to be true that you have to immediately check your online receipt to make sure you didn't accidentally order the wrong item. Then, once in a great while, you are pleasantly surprised by what you see in front of you and upon further examination, it only continues to exceed your very reasonable expectations....And once you find what you like, you order one in every color;--led.We're all imperfect beings in a flawed world searching for a needle in a haystack. First dates can be extremely awkward, so I think it's a good idea to do some sort of activity so that there's not so much pressure to make un-natural conversation because the activity itself gives you something to talk about and relate on.
