I'm a mom, I have 2 children full time. I CAN make time for dating if I feel you're worth it and if there's potential... I'm not 21, single and kid free like I once was. So if I'm talking to you, I'm most likely interested, and if you want to take me out, I'll need to know when so I can make arrangements for my children. But I can't up and leave whenever I want. I like to keep things different! ;) I am a BIG fan of the little things and believe that the little things DO matter!!! They definitely make this girl happy!I don't believe that you need to spend money to always have a good time! I like random road trips, just for the hell of it. I prefer the beach and ocean over the lake or river any day! Big fan of bbq'ing on nice warm summer nights. Cooking together in the kitchen while sipping wine and talking about our days. I enjoy trying new places to eat. I love to cook and I'm really great at it. Bowling is a blast, even though I suck and will probably fall on my ass on the lane at least once during the game. But I will still laugh and have fun! I love movies, either going to them or renting one and having a cozy night inside. I also love going to concerts... I could go on and on... Coffee on a nice day. Bowling. Shooting range? Paintballing? Worse case scenario, surprise me... Girls like surprises, it shows them you know how to put forth the effort!!! NO movies on a first date! You can't get to know someone in a movie! I'm not a big fan of dinner on a first date either. I feel it puts too much pressure and that takes the fun out of the date. Plus I don't want any man feeling like he needs to go that much out of his way. If we decide on a 2nd date, then I'll let you take me to dinner! ;) Ha ha.

    I just spent the last year of my life with a manchild I met from this website. We met and I fell hard and so did my kid. He dumped me after a year and said he was not looking for a commitment.... yeah you read that correctly.... dragged us along for a year but does not want a commitment. So I decided to update my profile because for some reason, unbeknownst to me, I always end up attracting these self-serving types, and I feel it is my duty, everyone's duty, to change their own fate. After that last relationship I feel broken. But in reality I am kind of awesome lol. The truth of the matter is I am a great Friend, Lover, Mother, and Volunteer, and any man would be lucky to have me. Not to be cheesy, but I enjoy waking up with the same man every day, talking about our work drama at night, playing with our children, catching a date night every now and then, and bouncing ideas for one another's school work off the other. This is happiness to me. As I am nearing 30, of course most all my friends are married or engaged or preggo, and I always feel happy for them, no matter what kind of relationship I am in; this tells me that the idea of love is very much alive and accessible to those who want it. I feel like humans have only a small window to take what they want and make it their own because life is hard... life is short... and only the strongest will survive. After all we can't even drive on the freeway or go to the movies anymore without being shot at. This has made me even more aware of how precious life is and how I will be damned if I spend one more second of it without someone who feels the same way, who shares the same goals, and same basic values as me. I'm a smartass, caring, honest, and like to debate most all subjects. I like movies/music/photography/history/law. I have a Bachelor's degree and am registered for law school, work full time but like to unwind too. If you have kids, that's great, I love kids. If you don't, that's fine too :-) I LOVE to go on daytrips to Tahoe and camping and I hope there are some serious camping trips this winter! I think the most important traits in a man for me are as follows:You have to have drive... I don't care what you want in life, but want something, be passionate about it because life is short. If you want something, then fight for it. If you can't fight or won't fight for it, then you don't deserve it, period. Honesty is first and foremost. I didn't get honesty from my last relationship and it can wreck the soul - so just be honest. I promise I will be honest with you, good, bad, or indifferent. It's amazing how simplified a relationship can be if we are all just honest with one another; it makes you closer, stronger, and more connected.Good luck to all the fish in the sea...
