Ah, the wonderful world of online dating. Something I used to say I'd never do yet here I am filling out a box about my hobbies, etc. I hear the woman are crazy, full of drama and looking for a man to support them. I hate to break from the "norm" but I don't have the time or the patience for being crazy or entertaining any drama. And get this, my parents raised me to stand on my own two feet! I live on my own, have a car and I pay all of my own bills. Crazy, eh?! Working hard has paid off and I have fun doing it. I can't say that I really mind being single as I'd much rather be on my own than be with someone just for the sake of being with someone. I don't have a checklist of what my potential man should be/have and I'm not in a rush to settle down, get married, have kids, etc. A few fun facts for those of you that have made it this far:- I'm not a big drinker but being that I was born and raised in BC, I am ***friendly;- I love hip hop and R&B; you'll never see me line dancing or head banging in a mosh pit;- I'm scared of big dogs; - I love meeting new people. I'll talk to anyone at anytime, anywhere. I even apply for jobs on occasion to brush up on interview skills. Weird, right?? - The three best words to describe myself would be: passionate, witty and considerate; and- A man that can use punctuation and form a complete sentence is sexier than a man who can't.If I've peaked your interest thus far, shoot me a message. All I ask is that you are creative enough to come up with more than "Hi". I'm sure I speak for a lot of the women on this site when I say we get our share of these messages. Writing these things can be so time consuming and they really can't give you a good perspective on a person, however it does give people fantastic talking points to start with and even open up with. I guess that means I will be wasting some time giving a small window into the person that is me. One thing that I love to do is write, I have a wildly vivid Imagination and when I get an idea for some crazy story I sit down and I start to write sometimes it's good sometimes it's not, but I enjoy it. Another thing that is very enjoyable for me is scrapbooking and I one day plan to have an entire room dedicated to it, for now I just store it away for a rainy day. Reading is another way that I could happily waste an entire day. fiction is something I enjoy three of my favorite authors are V.Now I know that none of these hobbies are overly fascinating to the male species, but that's ok you don't have to like or even enjoy these things, I promise that when you tell me you like hockey, baseball, football, golf ect . I will not be overly excited sports hold no interest in my life but that does not mean that is all of who you are, it just means while you watch sports I'll read a book. problem solved. As you can see I am divorced, I'm fine with that and over it! However I will not put up with cheating if you want to be with someone else then man up and leave. I would love to get married again and have at least one more child, as it is I have a daughter who is pretty much the cutest little person on the planet and since I'm her mom you wont convince me otherwise. Right now I own my own dayhome and I love every minute of it even on the days I could strangle them, it also allows me to stay home with my daughter as she is almost ***. her and I are a package so if you don't like or want kids please move on and don't waste anymore of your time. As much as I would love to talk about the music I love, it would be easier to just list what I don't.. I'm not a big country fan and Techno is 100% out, I don't really listen to any sort of heavy metal either, other then that I'm pretty flexible. I know everyone says I'm so close to my family, and for me it's true I really enjoy spending time with them, they are very open minded and understanding, and I know they always have my back. don't get me wrong there is few members I could do without but for the most part were a pretty tight knit group. I would think that I have a very interesting personality, I can be highly sarcastic and I can take a joke. growing up as one of the only girls in an all boy family you learn that guys can say some pretty mean things and think there being funny, the trick is to learn the difference and just let it go...or store it away for future reference when you re-tell the story. besides taking everything so personally just makes you age so much faster. I think there is just one or two more things people should know about me before they decide if they want to talk to me, one thing, I know I'm not model thin but guess what! I'm ok with that. I worked plus size retail for many years and helped so many ladies feel good about themselves because I felt good about myself, what does this mean??? it means I don't have self esteem issues, so I'm not going to sleep with you, so if all your looking for is a good time don't message me you either wont get an answer or you'll get one you don't like. The other thing you should know, I have a father and he's awesome, so if your over 40 don't message me, I don't have daddy issues. so to sum it up I'm overall a very well rounded person. So if you made it through all that and you think "Man she's a ****! but I think I like her." maybe I'll here from you, just remember I bite...LOL! (but not that hard.) Happy Fishing! A first date should be fun an simple, maybe sitting a swing with your shoes off and your toes in the sand.
