So I've never used a dating site before to look for someone but I've heard some good things , also bad lol but I figured there's no harm in it so I'm giving it a shot. I'm a very outgoing person. I've had a real rough last five years, I was in a horrible car accident that left me in the hospital for half a year. My leg was basically ripped off at the knee, and after many many surgeries they put me back together. I spent a couple years in a wheelchair but I'm a fighter and after about 4 years despite everything they told me I'm back to normal. I think I'm actually better than normal because my life was changed and I value and appreciate things now I never did before. That being said I'm not looking for someone superficial . Obviously I have to be attracted to you physically a bit but I'm looking for someone with a big heart. Personality is more attractive to me than physical appearance. I'm an extremely empathetic person and i"ll go out of my way to help someone and I NEED someone that will do the same. That being said I'm a strong minded person and if I think I'm right i"ll fight til I'm blue in the face. I was raised to respect your elders and with good morals and those are important to me. I deal cards for a living. Ive worked in the casino for years the. On a cruise ship however Its a stressful scene for me as all you do is take peoples money and you see alot of hardship with gamblers. after my accident I decided to Only work for the company i work for now as we dont play for "real" money. We go all over the Place and set up our casino but our players Play with fake money. i can actually say that i'm one of a very small percentage of the population that not only likes my job but I LOVE IT! I'm a talker. Seriously, I don't shut up! I get uncomfortable with awkward silence so I just make sure there never is any ;) I've learned through previous relationships that there are flaws in people you can handle and ones you can't. I'm ok with a lot of things. More than most woman. I love to cook. I can't handle drug users, (occasional pot is ok but I mean occasional) people that are rude, and lying. I'd rather brutal truth than lying. The biggest things I'm looking for is someone I can trust. You have to love animals, or at least like them, you have to have goals in life and a positive attitude. I truly believe that something positive can be taken out every situation no matter how awful and I'd love to find someone that feels the same. I keep finding myself around people that bring my spirits down and i need someone that will do the opposite. Completely off topic, i dropped my phone today and shattered the screen so its very hard to see. i'm kinda big on spelling and grammer and im occasionally noticing bad grammar, spelling Ect. So if something isnt the way it should look please know thats not normal. its actually kinda driving me nuts. Well..... All of it. I've really been wanting to try this outdoor adventure place in Mapleridge that has a zip line as well as I want to learn how to salsa dance. When Iearn new things I can get really shy sometimes so it would be awesome to learn something or do something with someone that neither of us have done. I'm not shy at all when I'm doing something I'm confident like dealing poker however I've always strived to be the best at whatever I'm doing so when I'm not I can get pretty shy or embarrassed . I never in my life thought I'd say this because I'm very independant but I'd love it if I could just stay home , cook, clean, take care of kids and work part time . I currently live alone with my two cats whom I love with all my heart. I work a career in the health care field and have been for the past 6 years. For things I like to do; I love walking, yoga, movies, working out at the gym, swimming, shopping, tattoos, piercings, meditating, playing guitar, going to concerts, reading, and chilling with good friends and cuddling with my two cats. As of late I have really been getting into art. My goal is to become a tattoo artist some day though I still have a ways to go before doing this. I've been focusing on drawing, shading, color integration and starting to dabble into water color with pastels. I have not yet used a tattoo gun. This would be a very big change from what I'm currently doing for work in the health care field.Primarily I listen to a lot of the old school grunge music, alternative and rock and roll;... On that note I can pretty much sit and listen to anything if the beat is good.I just like to live life for the moment, laugh and enjoy the good times. I'm hoping to find that person I connect with on the same wave length as I which is certainly a different one from most but an interesting one to say the least.
