Hi, I'm just on here to check it out. I have a 5 year old son and I am double majoring right now. I am a very busy person and it is hard to sustain any type of relationship, however if the right person came along that could change.

Soo...I'm an English teacher. A pretty stereotypical one, too: book nerd, grammar nazi, post-it hoarder, red pen connoisseur, owner of a ridiculous number of cardigans. My job is super important to me (and really time-consuming/exhausting) but I'm trying to find the right balance between being a great educator and having an actual life outside the building. Two deal-breakers right out of the gate (sorry for going negative so early in the campaign...) but because of my job I don't have much patience for grown men who act like the teenagers I spend all day around, and I will judge you for bad grammar. I can't help it. (Sorry?) However, I promise I'm not anti-fun - part of my job is entertaining kids all day and I have a sarcastic, dorky, silly sense of humor. I have a pretty deep well of Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies jokes, and I love a bad pun. Anywho. Family is very important to me. We're freakishly functional and very close. My parents have been together for over three decades and they're an inspiration in all kinds of ways. I'm also pretty proud to say I'm building up a good network of friends up here - I'm most definitely an introvert, so making friends isn't the easiest for me, but I've stumbled into a great group and I couldn't be happier about that. I love history, music, going to plays and museums, stuff like that. I'm up for exploring, love road trips and travel in general, but I also enjoy just relaxing and hanging out. I'm looking for someone who's easy to talk to, kind, generous, smart and funny. Are you that somebody? (Ugh, that sounded cheesy. Whatever.) Hi. I'd love to go somewhere subdued and laid back (crowded and noisy clubs/bars are what hell is like, I'm pretty sure) where a good conversation can take place. A stroll around town is great, as is a picnic, going to a museum, historical walking tours, wine tastings, stuff like that is my favorite.

I work and go to school full time so I stay pretty busy, but I like to meet new people to hang out with in my spare time. I am in school to get my Associates degree as a MLT. I hate liars and only have time for a person who is honest about their intentions. I love tattoos and piercings, if I didn't work in healthcare I would have more. I enjoy watching movies, listening to music and of course hitting the clubs with friends when I can, even though it doesn't happen very often anymore! I'm pretty laid back, enjoy doing almost anything with the right company, and get along with most people. I bought a house when I was 21 so I'm always motivated to try and get ahead in life. Not to be rude but if you have no job, no car and can't take care of yourself don't bother. I know everybody goes through rough times but I'm tired of always picking up slack in relationships, if you want the time of day you've got to at least contribute. FYI I don't date way older men. A few years is fine but if you're old enough to be my father I'm just not down with that.
