I love life & living every second spontaneously. My family is my whole world...they mean more to me than anyone & my dad is my best friend. I'm sports obsessed and loooove a good game at home, at a bar, and especially in person!; the Giants are my personal favorites. I love to laugh and have a good time - my girlfriends from SU are some of the most amazing women I've ever met. Two of my best friends are guys & I need someone who can handle that with confidence. I love all kinds of music but hip hop, country & feel good music are my favorites. JT is god. I love to play basketball, shop, and relax in the little bit of free time I have - I'm a teacher so my kids keep me busy! I enjoy a good night out with the girls but I also loveee nights in with a glass of wine & a movie with the right person. I'm really laid back & believe in the glass half full - there's no use dwelling on the things we can't change! I'm a night owl, love a good book & can be crazy hyper/excited to try new things or new places. Knicks game... ;) jk but really anything!

Soo...I'm an English teacher. A pretty stereotypical one, too: book nerd, grammar nazi, post-it hoarder, red pen connoisseur, owner of a ridiculous number of cardigans. My job is super important to me (and really time-consuming/exhausting) but I'm trying to find the right balance between being a great educator and having an actual life outside the building. Two deal-breakers right out of the gate (sorry for going negative so early in the campaign...) but because of my job I don't have much patience for grown men who act like the teenagers I spend all day around, and I will judge you for bad grammar. I can't help it. (Sorry?) However, I promise I'm not anti-fun - part of my job is entertaining kids all day and I have a sarcastic, dorky, silly sense of humor. I have a pretty deep well of Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies jokes, and I love a bad pun. Anywho. Family is very important to me. We're freakishly functional and very close. My parents have been together for over three decades and they're an inspiration in all kinds of ways. I'm also pretty proud to say I'm building up a good network of friends up here - I'm most definitely an introvert, so making friends isn't the easiest for me, but I've stumbled into a great group and I couldn't be happier about that. I love history, music, going to plays and museums, stuff like that. I'm up for exploring, love road trips and travel in general, but I also enjoy just relaxing and hanging out. I'm looking for someone who's easy to talk to, kind, generous, smart and funny. Are you that somebody? (Ugh, that sounded cheesy. Whatever.) Hi. I'd love to go somewhere subdued and laid back (crowded and noisy clubs/bars are what hell is like, I'm pretty sure) where a good conversation can take place. A stroll around town is great, as is a picnic, going to a museum, historical walking tours, wine tastings, stuff like that is my favorite.

For the most part I'm a laid back girl, at first shy but pretty outgoing once i get to know someone. I come from a close knit family and I value all the things that come with a good relationship:trust, love, friendship. I feel really fortunate to have so many of my close friends and family near me, and I would like to add someone special to my life. I grew up in a small town and went to college in an even smaller town so I enjoy the little things in life! I enjoy trying new restaurants, going out for a drink, concerts, being around friends, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. As much as i do enjoy a good night out with friends nothing is better than staying in relaxing with a good movie or just good company!
