I am a mom of two amazing children that are my world! Without them I am nothing, I am not looking for a father for them, they have one.I am currently in school working towards my nursing degree, my overall goal is to be a physicians assistant. I am not looking for someone to support me I am plenty capable and I am also not looking to take care of anyone else.I must say I am very picky when it comes to dating....I have divorced for a year and single for two. I have tried dating a few people and well most at CRAZY..CONTROLLING A$$HOLES that just want A$$. I am not looking to just get laid. I am perfectly capable of finding that elsewhere. I am not looking for games. I have come to realize that dating is not easy or like it was back in the day....I am not going to date someone with no goals or ambitions. You can not live with your parents. You must have a car and job. Those are the big deal breakers if I haven't lost your attention yet send me a message and lets see what happens. You only get one so you better make it count!

Hi!I'm a 26 year old woman, and I love to do anything creative. I'm currently an art teacher, and I love my job. I love reading (my library card is almost always maxed out) and I love writing. I'm actually working on a series of children's books/apps with my father, which has been a really fun project. I love animals, dogs AND cats (I know, unheard of, right?) and I love conversations with new people. Especially if there's coffee! Some people have been really confused about my religious beliefs, so I just want to add a clarification. I consider myself non-religious, but I DO consider myself spiritual. I meditate and read books about prayer, then go straight to a Carl Sagan book about the scientific workings of the universe. I like to consider myself as a scrapper who picks up little bits of wisdom everywhere I go :)Favorite Books (If you don't like to read, it's not going to work)1. Dracula2. Watership Down3. Lord of the Rings Trilogy4. Hound of the Baskervilles5. To Kill A MockingbirdFavorite Movies (this is harder...I have so many!)1. The Haunting (original)2. Beetlejuice3. The Mask4.)5. An old silent movie called the Unknown because it is ridiculous and hilarious without meaning to be.TVI really don't tend to watch TV, but when I do, it's:1. Sherlock2. BBC Mystery Shows3. Black Books4. Um...lots of English stuff, really. (Although I didn't have much patience for Downton Abbey)5. If you don't know what those are, you don't know what you're missing! *** in music: I've been in orchestra for years, so that should tell you something :) I love classical music, classic rock (imho, it doesn't get any better than Led Zeppelin) bluegrass, and songs from musicals, and lots of random celtic/new age stuff. I respect if some of these are not for you, but I hope it's not too off the mark :)I find myself a little bit stuck right now - a lot of my close friends have moved away, pursuing their masters degrees. I'd much rather watch a DVD at home than go clubbing. (I've actually never been clubbing. It sounds exactly like my definition of hell.)Well, that's all I can think of for now. I'm definitely a mixed bag and full of surprises, but hopefully they're fun :) Thanks for looking! Someplace quiet and relaxed, where we can chat and get to know each other. I'm a casual girl, so nothing too fancy please :)
