I do believe that this on-line dating works. I also believe that it takes a process. I think the process is e-mail a few times, if there's enough interest and only when you feel comfortable take it to phone conversations. I am a very honest and straight forward person and do not like people who lie. Honesty is very important to me. I am a very affectionate person and would like to be with someone who is also affectionate. I enjoy life and love to laugh. I think you need to talk a lot to see if you would like to see each other again. Movies are not ok for a meet/greet, you can't talk and get to know anything about each other. I think if you go to a restaurant for dinner and decide that you are just not right for each other - what do you have to lose? Nothing, you both had dinner and possibly a new friend. If it ends up that you find that you do have a lot in common, well, you not only had a great dinner but also a possible start of a relationship/friendship. Just so you know, on meet and greets, I pay my own way, I don't consider this a date.
