Got mixed reviews about this site....lets see how it goes... I have no kids and I have never been married. I work for a foster care agency and I really like my job. I have a lot of goals that are career oriented but if I told you about that now, we couldnt talk about it later. I enjoy reading, shopping, listening to music, watching movies, and going out with friends. I am not into the club thing but a nice dinner and maybe some drinks is good for me. I am pretty low key. I am not high maintenance but I do demand some attention and reciprocity. If you only want a relationship on your own schedule then its not going to work between us. I tend to go for guys who are clean cut (that doesnt mean clean shaven but just make it look nice and not like you just stumbled in from a crazy weekend), tall guys (taller than me), and guys who are good listeners. Common sense and a sense of humor are a must. *****UPDATE*****I have grown pretty disappointed in the calibur of men here. (Ladies also...I have heard stories!!) Do you really approach women like this? What happened to showing some regard? Is it because we are utilizing online sites that you lose your manners? If the answer is yes, I strongly suggest your evaluate your relationship with the important women in your life. If a man came to your mother, aunt, sister, daughter, etc and said "oooo girl gimme yo number. I'll show you a real good time" (I am actually toning down what I get), would you be upset? You'd be ready to clock someone's jaw right? Please remember that I am someone's daughter, sister, friend, and maybe someday someone's mother. Please keep this mind the next time you message something disrespectful. I realize that I may sound bitter but that is not my intention. I'm just trying to raise awareness. I'm the oldest in a family of 4 children and this has shaped the person I am. I like to make sure everyone is okay and be there to support people who are important to me... which sometimes means baking them delicious treats (mmm... chocolate chip cookies...)I studied International Relations in school and I work as a public servant. I love my work and my career is important to me. I'm also studying law part time, and look forward to obtaining my LLB in 3 years.As for my interests outside of work, I will have to warn you, I can kick your butt! I go to kickboxing class ***days a week (don't worry I'm not a total tomboy - I can still rock a dress and a nice pair of stilettos.) I find that it relieves stress and helps me stay fit in a fun way...the fact that I have a toned upper body is just the (chocolate?) icing on the cake.Speaking of icing... I like baking (and decorating) cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. I also enjoy photography, painting, and outdoory/sporty activities (I'm currently playing on a beach volleyball team, and I also enjoy indoor rock climbing and soccer). I love chocolate (oops, did I mention that already?)...and am disappointed when it's the birthday of a coworker who likes *gasp* vanilla and I have to bring in vanilla cupcakes or cake.In addition to English... je parle francais (comme deuxieme langue)... (and ***!). If you happen to speak French, that would be a bonus parce que j'aimerais rester bilingue. ;)
