About Me

Im a single mother to a wonderful 5 year old boy. He is my life, and I want to find someone that accepts that. I want to have a family. I want to find someone to go for walks with us, go to the playground, go for ice cream, or just stay at home and watch movies. Dont get me wrong, I like to get out every now and then(mnd u that comes very few and far in between). I dont have too much help with sitters so i try to use my time away wisely. Im very laid back and up for anything. Im very sarcastic, sorry i get it from my father. Im in a Steeler loving family, so if u cant except that now, dont even bother. Raising my son has really taught me to grow up and become a little more independent. I absolutely want someone to share the stress and beauty of my life with. I want to find someone that needs me in their life as much as I need them. I love and value the little things in life. Id love to know what it feels like to be top priority for once and have someone that actually has time to invest in me as well as my son:) I believe all first dates are awkward until u really get comfortable with the other person. Id love to go to the drive ins, or mini golfing, something lame and cheesy that ud see in a movie. I guess I'm just a sucker for a happy ending that u see in all of those movies.

    Well, where do I begin? Have no fear however, I did leave this area to go to school to become a music teacher. I've lived in western PA (and no I DO NOT worship the "terrible towel"!! I will admit I am a bit of a band nerd. I play in a few community/ professional ensembles in the area and I play the oboe. I consider myself to be a very independent person. I often know what I want and go after it. I definitely think being indecisive is annoying as well as being "flaky". I am extremely loyal, and easy to get along with. I like to say I have a good head on my shoulders and can think things through in a calm, rational way. But I am definitely full of creativity and am truely a child at heart. I love insane unique thinkers, it always makes for fun conversation. I don't mind debating either and will often play "devil's advocate" in conversation just help out a person when thinking through a hypothetical situation. I definitely enjoy watching football and going to Iron Pig games. One of my crowning achievements was singing the National Anthem at an Iron Pigs game. I like to read, as well as be outdoors to go on a hike. I have never fished before. I've always wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride, they just look like fun! If it's a spontaneous travel choice it excites me more. Hmmm, what do I look for in a guy. Not entirely sure, I have this philosophy that I'll just know it when I see it. Must be able to hold intelligent conversation. Religion plays a factor in my life, if you dont believe in it, I respect that however, don't knock my beliefs. I will say this though, if you can return my witty convesation or even laugh along with me, I will like you a lot for it. I want my date and I to feel like we have some sort of kinship at the end of the date. Friends are important. I dont open for a romantic connection unless I truly get to know the person. Call me sentimental, I have zero interest in strictly romantic pursuits... It makes the connection boring if you know the answer to the question. Much more fun to realize you've stumbled upon something wonderful than to expect it. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and checking out my page. Enjoy your day! I think it would be a cool idea to go somewhere fun like to a pottery place to paint it. Or even to some sort of museum, to check out the sights. I also love being able to find a nice quiet place to absorb the surroundings and have good conversation or meditation.
