About Me

I'm a single mommy and full-time nursing student so I don't get out like I used to (which is how people normally meet the opposite sex) plus I'm really picky, so I'm giving this a try. I don't have a "type" AT ALL. My taste is all over the place. I deleted my profile but I'm back! Let's see if I have better luck this time :o)I had to sacrifice and downgrade my life a lot recently in order to end my 5 year relationship and be free to start over. It was worth it.Right now I just want cool laid back guy friends but I like a guy who doesn't give in all the time or give me my way with everything. Stands his ground and speaks up for himself. I tend to wear the pants (even though I'm still the girly girl princess everyone thinks I am) in all my relationships but I never want the pants and that's why they don't work out. I want a strong take charge man :o) I also like guys who are laid back and never get mad about anything EVER because that's how I am. I do get stressed out though when people disrupt my calm and peaceful environment. I'm a lover not a fighter.     I really am not very good at this part, but here goes. I am a CNA/activity assistant at a nursing facility and the job suits me well because I thrive when I am doing and caring for others. My hope is to get back to school soon to work toward a degree in nursing or social work. I am very involved in community theatre in my area, both on stage and behind the scenes. There is just something about the performing arts that thrills me. I am an athlete and sports fan as well. Probably one of my favorite things to do is cook/bake. Preparing a big meal for friends and family makes me so happy. I love to be around people, but like quiet time to reflect also.
