About Me

My hope is that I can have a positive impact on at least one child that I work with. At home, I enjoy reading, watching television/movies, surfing the web, and taking naps. My TV and movie tastes are somewhat diverse. I also enjoy doing touristy things in the DC area, playing sports, walking around, and doing other silly/fun activities (mini-golf, bowling, etc.). It looks like it would be really fun to learn how to ballroom dance. In many ways, I think I am young at heart. I have a sometimes sarcastic, sometimes very cheesy/silly sense of humor, and I still love most things Charlie Brown. We try to visit when we can and talk often. I love dogs and would like to own one again someday. I like Top 40 music and and cheesy 80s power ballads. I sometimes even listen to classical music in the car. I will eat almost anything with chocolate. When I meet new people, I tend to be tongue-tied and shy. However, I do open up once I feel comfortable and get to know someone. I do not really have anything specific in mind. Since I am somewhat shy, I think it would be easiest to open up and get to know someone if we do a fun activity on the date. I'm open to suggestions, especially as I am still pretty new to the area and looking to explore what DC has to offer.

    .. which sometimes I think might actually be TOO big.! Love livin in Calgary! I am not your typical girly girl (Yes I am still terrified of spiders), I enjoy cars, and being out doors, hiking, camping and just being outside. But I also do like shopping, movies and snuggling on the couch with a good movie or book.I am really shy at first, which also means I am really quiet at first.     Let's see, I enjoy reading or riding my street cruiser bicycle. I love activities with friends like bowling, mini golf, laser tag (you're never too old!!) I'm not usually too competitive so it's ok if you win! I'll probably kick your ass in laser tag tho, FYI lol.So this is AZ, of course I enjoy hiking and soaking up the sun at the river or pool. I've mostly been back east so far but I'm enjoying going to new places and experiencing different parts of the US. Plus it's all expenses paid, can't beat that ;)I enjoy making friends, talking to people, math, I have a great memory, I'm a little OCD so I keep things organized and clean, ooh I'm good at joking around lol Laughing is a MUST! It's faded a lot however. Whatever's clever. I'm pretty easy going and am almost always down!
