Is it just me, or is this the awkward part? Listing off things that you like, qualities that you believe you possess, as well as those you feel that you seek in others... it reminds me of the autobiography I had to write in third grade and then read in front of the class. Lol. That being said, here goes:I have an open mind and value honest conversation. I can be quite serious and partake in engaging subjects, but I'm also no stranger to being goofy and playfully sarcastic. I think that I'm more independent than most women, but I still appreciate genteelness in men :) Most people would describe me as friendly, and polite, and these are also qualities that I greatly admire in men. Confidence can be attractive, but a little bit of humility goes a long way as well. Some of my favorite hobbies include photography (I own a lovely Nikon dslr), creative writing, and reading. I love music (who doesn't? I enjoy going out, but I'm also just as comfortable at home. "Meet me." Oh meetville... why isn't there a "let's chat?" I don't trust an Internet dating website enough to meet someone without getting a feel for their personality first: I'm not looking to meet up with anyone this weekend (perpetually), but I'd love to chat, so drop me a line. I spent 6 years in the military after high school and went to Afghanistan in ***. My professional career is really important to me and I've been lucky enough to always have a job that I really enjoy. I absolutely love to travel! I'm also really looking forward to exploring the Northeast. Going to sporting events and watching sports on tv is a favorite past time of mine. NFL football is my #1, but I'll pretty much go to any game in any sport. I live in the Back Bay area, so Fenway is only about a 10 minute walk away (love going to Sox games). I like to go out, but I'm not a big fan of the club scene. I'd much rather find a cool bar to hang out at, especially one with an outdoor area (weather permitting). I also love to try new restaurants. I've had some amazing food thus far. I wouldn't consider myself the best cook, but I get by. I also try to keep a good balance - I like to go out, but I also like chilling at home. I like to go out to eat, but I also enjoy trying a new recipe. Because I like to go out and eat out, I also try to get to the gym on a regular basis. I think my friends would describe me as outgoing, optimistic, and active. The beach is great, but I can't lay there for very long. I get bored. I like to be around people that are confident and know what they want in life. I wouldn't say I have a certain "type" I'm attracted to, but I think confidence is really sexy. If you're interested in hanging out send me a message and we'll go from there.
