About Me

I would like to start by saying that I am a christian and as such I am looking for a Godly christian man. I have a few other deal breakers also. If you live at home with your Mother or your family supports you then I'm not interested. I am not interested in someone that cannot take care of their own bills. If I were to date someone and they were to meet my children I would expect them to treat them as they would their own. I come from a divorced home and my stepfather is just as much my Dad as my biological father. I expect the same for my children. Ok...if your still reading let me tell you a little bit about me ;) Lets see my hobbies would probably be mainly my horses but I really enjoy doing almost anything outdoors. I really wish I lived somewhere warmer so that I could spend more time doing things outside year round. I hate being cold so the outdoor winter sports don't really hold a whole lot of appeal for me. I also really enjoy working out and staying in shape. I also enjoy watching most sporting events especially hockey and MMA. The only ones that I would say hold no interest for me would be baseball and soccer, anything else I'm down to watch. I have a lot of interests and can have fun doing almost anything. I also love doing things with my kids but I feel that should go without saying.     I'm not necessarily looking for anything serious or long term but whatever happens happens. I am a Registered Nurse and I work on the skilled nursing/physical therapy unit of a local nursing home. On the weekends I like to do local run/walks, you know little 5ks so you still have the day to whatever you want for the rest of the afternoon. St patricks day road race is another story, that a 10k/6mile that take alot out of you but still its fun. I like to do outdoorsy things but I really have no interest in gardening or anything of the sort. I'm not really into the extreme things cause I don't want to die doing something crazy, but I've spent a few weeks limping till Wednesday being a weekend warrior the weekend before. Yes I will do a tough mudder with you but please don't try to wait for me, I'm slow and I would rather not bring you down with me. I'm independent and don't like to ask things of people. I CAN change my oil but i prefer to pay someone to do it. I like my job, I think I was destined to be a nurse, and I work Monday-Friday which gives me the weekends to do what I want.. I like to go out and do things, but I have no problem staying home and watching the Patriots play, I like all football games to be honest and please do not think that is any attempt to make guys like me.. my family and I get very into the games and it is at times embarrasing.. I'm open to dating a Yankee fan at this point in my life but its like politics its better left unspoken. I don't care about your political view honestly, I'm more concerned about which sports teams you are fan of. Be prepared to attend a falcons game or too. We might have a slight obsession.. (me and my sister)I LOVE country music but my friends say I am not "redneck", my style is beachy. I don't know how else to say it.. Somewhere where I can get a good dirty martini or merlot. :)
