FYI: My chat doesn't work. Just send a message! I ran a rescue for over a year, and while it consumed my life, I loved every minute. I hope to eventually be able to fund my own rescue venture but right now that's just not in the cards - the funding the my own home venture is more important, and so is my real job...for the time being.I'm definitely the type of girl who is one of the “guys" most of the time, but I'm not unhappy putting on a dress when it's warranted. I'd rather be outside than inside when it's an option (and not ***degrees) and have little desire to spend my weekends sitting. I do enough of that at my desk during the week. I play a lot of softball, have a love hate relationship with running. I just signed up for a couple of half marathons so much of my summer will be spent training. If you want to run with me give me a shout! I love a challenge but hate to lose. In fact I'm a bit of a sports junkie. Hockey and football are my favorites, but I also love going to baseball games. I support the local teams, and yes I know how bad the Redskins are but I'm loyal to a fault. I've also been told I do alright in the kitchen. If you're lucky I'll bake you some of my famous cookies ;-) I also have a thing for super obnoxious shorts - if you can find me some more to add to my collection you get extra points. Always keeping a positive attitude towards life. things haven't always turned out the way I thought they would, but I have found some of the best things have come from the unexpected.
