About Me

I work in the healthcare field, its great fit for me. I am a student and believe having an education is very important. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends/family. Exploring new places and participating in new activities is a must for me. I am very opened minded; appreciate other cultures food and activities. On the other hand I like staying in some nights and keeping it simple. This summer I plan on practicing my golf swing, riding my bike, cookouts, CWS, outdoor concerts/festivals, camping, hanging out by the lake/river and planting a garden. I’ve been homeowner for six years; so far it’s been a great investment. I’m not the type that’s afraid to get dirty for fun or hard work but I also love getting dolled up. I would describe myself as real and genuine, fun, loving, compassionate, down to earth, "go- getter", optimistic, has Christian based morals. I am a very goal orientated person; I believe that the best way to predict your future is to create it. It’s very important to me that I be with man that has manners, is a gentleman and desires to be in a healthy relationship. A boyfriend/girlfriend should be a compliment to your already happy life, not the driving force.

I am just like any other college professor (but my title is *** I don't have a PhD) that teaches any other subject. I DON'T work at a gym and I am NOT currently working as a personal trainer. I'm working overtime this semester as well as completing a master's in journalism to complement my master's in exercise science. I have done some freelance writing in the past and would like to get into it more seriously. Another perk of not teaching group fitness or training clients as I did in FL is that I have been able to train hard enough to compete this year. My long term fitness goals are to rebuild my gymnastics skills to compete in the fitness division as well as become sponsored by a vegan athlete team. Another fascination is anything challenging, so I'd love to do the Tough Mudder at the end of this year :)I have had trouble finding people in this area (both for friends and dating) who truly take advantage of all the opportunities to enjoy life here. My favorite thing is hiking waterfalls, and I've already seen almost all of them. Most of the time I take my dog, and I'm not afraid to go explore on my own. I don't wait for things to happen; I make them happen. Please contact me if you want someone who is dedicated, motivated, energetic, intelligent, funny and adventurous (as long as you are those things, too, haha.) I also have some message filters on so that only people who are truly interested in getting to know me as a person (and not just for the way I look...if you made it to this point in my bio I'm hoping you fall into the former, not latter, category) and are a good fit for me will get through.     Hello.....Not to sure what to say here so here it goes..... I have been known for my "charming sarcastic sense of humour" so you have been warned.....Friends/Family are very important to me as both my siblings have little ones that I aime to spend as much time with as I able to due my work schedule.
