Short and sweet...yup! I am referring to myself... not the long rant that follows :) (I know everyone seems to be going for shortest possible word count but it's not like you are obligated to read it all...)I find myself at a place in life where I have a great job, friends and family, a wonderful place to live, and in general, have it together… it seems like the perfect time to find "Mr. Right".I work as a Graphic/Web Designer at a Legal Services Firm but I am also a Fine Artist. I am happy, friendly, generally outgoing (I have shy moments), and keep a positive attitude toward life. I believe I have a decent sense of humor (sarcastic at times) and seem to be able to make most people laugh. I hope to find someone I can joke around with easily! I am very affectionate and look for the same in a partner. I am all about physical contact. I consider myself (for the most part) a clean, neat and organized person. Family is very important to me. I am looking forward to having my own family one day. I defiantly want kids. I have a lot of experience with babies and children and can’t wait to give being a mom a try!I dislike spiders (lets go with most bugs - if it has more than 4 legs - we usually don't get along lol), clowns, and the taste of black licorice. Oh and those little alien-pod things, I think they call them grape leaves. I can’t think of anything else offhand… I definitely enjoy evenings out but I also like a movie night to cuddle up on the couch every once in a while! It is rare I am ever “lazy” but I do find time to relax. I also love movies and music. Lots of different kinds, and I love to sing and dance... but not necessarily at the same time! ;)My "look" My nails are always painted and the only color I have ever put in my hair has been pink or purple (strands).This is a good one... I was adopted as a baby. My parents are Jewish but I don't actively practice any religion. I am 100% Long Islander! I know that if it were me reading a profile, I probably would have been unsure of someone that had been divorced, but truthfully it’s like any other past relationship just with an extra piece of paper :P and I am completely and legally divorced. I was not married long and have no children. To be honest, he was from another country (only had been living here a few years) and we had too many different values and beliefs for it to work out. It was a while ago now. So no surprises. I figured it needed to be mentioned.I have two cats. I've never had a cat ever before but I figured I'd try something new. They were rescued by my friend as babies and I didn't have the heart to just take one of them, I knew they needed each other. They are super awesome and friendly!Sushi is my favorite; I enjoy good wine, am a fan of coffee and tend to eat healthy by choice but I am always excited to try new things. I love to travel, and enjoy foods from all over the world. I was brought up to appreciate the finer things in life and am grateful for all of the experiences I have had. I am looking for an attractive guy (I have been known to go for blonde or light brown hair & green or blue eyed guys...) who is caring, romantic at times, loyal, thoughtful and kind. Is traditional but can be spontaneous once in a while. A man, who is educated and established, has ambition and is confident in himself but who isn't a complete workaholic and enjoys spending time with their significant other. Someone with a nice personality, even temper, and good strong values. Someone who cares about his health and overall appearance. Someone who makes me smile and laugh with a good sense of humor, knows that it is about the little things, and treats me with respect. Someone who values family and knows they definitely want to have kids. I am really looking to find a friend first and foremost but chemistry is definitely important! Be real and be honest. The rest should happen naturally. I hope to meet someone who overall just wants to have a good time and is in search of a meaningful relationship. This would be much more fun in person....I hope to find someone that I just can’t wait to see again. Are you out there? Probably going out to dinner, taking a walk somewhere, anything where we could talk and get a feel for each other. Going to the movies with someone you have just met doesn’t make sense to me, since you sit in the dark in silence the whole time. I'd rather interact when we first meet :) Maybe a one on one challenge, a game like pool, darts, bowling... you know, just to see if you can handle some competition ;)
