I am new to the area. I could tell you how I am searching for a best friend, with whom I can find mutual acceptance and companionship, but you read that in every profile.I can say that I tend to be intellectual, have a rather well-defined value system, and an open-minded way of looking at the world. I am not very traditional. I enjoy the freedom that my career affords me, and I use my free-time to pursue all of my creative interests.I work from home in organic food marketing. I prefer a slower-paced country setting for my life, which is what attracted me to the lakes region. I feel that it is healthier to have a definitive work vs. relaxation balance. My father passed away at a relatively young age from cancer this past spring, and those sort of experiences have a tendency to shift perspective. We only get one life, and it's here and now. I have a somewhat unusable degree in literature from a liberal arts college, and a big dream of writing a novel one day.The partner I am seeking is not exactly like me, but he is complementary. I think that two people can be together while allowing each other space to grow and evolve into the best versions of themselves.
