About Me

After calling off my engagement and having the dust settle, I figured it couldn't hurt to throw my line back into the dating pool, right? I'm a firm believer in things happening (or not happening) for a reason, so here goes nothing. I'm an ambitious, independent, compassionate, stubborn, hilarious, opinionated, empathetic, awesome, go after what I want, "what you see is what you get" so you can "take it or leave it" kind of woman. I don't believe in BS or sugarcoating. I believe a solid relationship, of any sorts, is nothing without honesty, trust, and communication; so I prioritize all three. I'm a lover of life. I want to try new things (new foods, new places, new activities). I love walking my pups, Sasha & I enjoy watching sports (baseball), playing spades, and can never pass up an opportunity for some verbal volleyball. Intelligence and wit are HOT; as are confidence, ambition, and having a general sense of consideration for other people's time and feelings. I also just bought my first house in Manayunk back in December and am working on turning it into a home. Pessimists need not engage!You: Are emotionally and physically available. It takes time to get to know someone, so if you're not willing to make getting to know me a priority, this won't work. You're the guy who doesn't care what you wear on a grocery run; but you are also someone who knows not to wear a striped tie with a plaid shirt haha. You are smart, witty, can understand my sometimes "ghetto fab" humor lol...are openminded, adventurous (would love to skydive again!), swing more to the left than right, politically speaking! and you kiss your mama everytime you see her. You also know the value of saying "I'm sorry." While I do pride myself on some of my better social worky qualities (e.g. being nonjudgmental), if you're misspelling every other word, call me "ma," send me a one-liner *** "Hey sexy, what's up?"; I will judge you! I'm sorry ahead of time! I'm really game for anything other than being invited to your place to "watch a movie!"
