About Me

After calling off my engagement and having the dust settle, I figured it couldn't hurt to throw my line back into the dating pool, right? I'm a firm believer in things happening (or not happening) for a reason, so here goes nothing. I'm an ambitious, independent, compassionate, stubborn, hilarious, opinionated, empathetic, awesome, go after what I want, "what you see is what you get" so you can "take it or leave it" kind of woman. I don't believe in BS or sugarcoating. I believe a solid relationship, of any sorts, is nothing without honesty, trust, and communication; so I prioritize all three. I'm a lover of life. I want to try new things (new foods, new places, new activities). I love walking my pups, Sasha & I enjoy watching sports (baseball), playing spades, and can never pass up an opportunity for some verbal volleyball. Intelligence and wit are HOT; as are confidence, ambition, and having a general sense of consideration for other people's time and feelings. I also just bought my first house in Manayunk back in December and am working on turning it into a home. Holy big girl pants! lolMoving right along...I'm looking for someone who sees the world the same way I see it: in color! Not just black and white. Pessimists need not engage!You: Are emotionally and physically available. It takes time to get to know someone, so if you're not willing to make getting to know me a priority, this won't work. You should also have a pretty good sense of who you are and what you want from life at this stage of the game. I'm not saying you should've achieved it all...but man...at least have a game plan! You are reliable, playful, consistent, available, willing to communicate and listen. You're the guy who doesn't care what you wear on a grocery run; but you are also someone who knows not to wear a striped tie with a plaid shirt haha. You are smart, witty, can understand my sometimes "ghetto fab" humor lol...are openminded, adventurous (would love to skydive again!), swing more to the left than right, politically speaking! and you kiss your mama everytime you see her. You also know the value of saying "I'm sorry." While I do pride myself on some of my better social worky qualities (e.g. being nonjudgmental), if you're misspelling every other word, call me "ma," send me a one-liner *** "Hey sexy, what's up?"; I will judge you! I'm sorry ahead of time! I'm really game for anything other than being invited to your place to "watch a movie!"

    first i guess i should tell you... i have about ***kids!!! only because I'm a teacher. I'm working on a few more classes so that I can stay in teaching. my family and friends mean the world to me. i absolutely love animals. bugs completely freak me out but if they're dead i can deal with it. the beach is totally my safe haven i won't ever move away from the ocean. i like to sing with my niece and in the shower but get shy about doing stuff like that in front of people. my favorite thing in the world is to sit on the beach or by a fire with a good book and cuddle with that someone special. I obviously don't need much to keep me happy.before my life gets too crazy, i want to travel but i want someone to come with me because thats no fun alone. i can pretty much do anything i set my mind to. im stubborn and opinionated but know when to use it.very tired of people trying to take advantage of me so if thats ur plan keep moving cause im not biting. i'm getting too old for the mind games people play to get their way. i want a ***relationship nothing more nothing less. if u cant handle that then you're not the 1 for me. if you actually got this far and are still interested send me a message something fun... mini golfing, bowling (only if i get the bumpers so i dont totally lose), karaoke (but I won't sing unless I'm really drunk), dinner, walk on the beach, coffee... no movies... you cant get to know someone at a dark movie theater... well i guess u can physically but thats not what i want
