I think my friends would describe me as easy-going, self-aware, spontaneous, caring, and active. I love getting outside and these days I'm mostly biking, swimming, or thinking about how I should be running. I also do the occasional rock-climbing day or backpacking trip, and in the winter I love xc skiing (skate mostly). I like down time at home as well, or hanging out with close friends. I love music (listening to it, I'm not very musical myself), animals, art, and I find simple day to day activities can be a lot of fun with the right person. I've had some great travel opportunities, although currently I'm happy just to explore more of B.C. I'm looking for someone who is kind, thoughtful, and active- someone who loves to laugh but also has some depth. This is the part of this process that we all hate, talking about ourselves. I could pour on with the cliche nice things about myself, but then I'll feel like I'm writing a resume, and I'm not...or am I? I'm a secondary teacher, so I spend a lot of time working with teenagers. Which really results in some of the funniest stories you will ever hear. Sadly most of my time right now is spent on lesson plans and marking. Sounds boring, doesn't it?Things I like... hmm.. I love theatre. I just finished directing my fourth production with students. I love every minute of it. I like reading, and will read just about anything when I have time, which sadly right now is limited to the 15 minutes before bed. I enjoy music, every kind and love finding new hidden gems and being introduced to bands I would have never found on my own.My friends and family are everything to me. My life particularly revolves around my youngest sister and my dogs. They have me wrapped around their little fingers/paws and what's worse is that they know it. But yeah, I'll do just about anything for my close friends and my family.I think that's about it for now. I'm just looking for some fun new people to hang out with, in hopes of curbing the madness that is my life. Doing something fun, something out of the ordinary. Drinks are good for a first meeting, but a first date should be something fun with many opportunities to laugh.

Filling things like this out are about as enjoyable as dealing with automated answering services, so I'm going to keep this pretty short, leaves more to talk about later.I like listening to a variety of music, pretty much will listen to anything except classical unless I'm having problems sleeping. I also enjoy watching movies, playing pool (even though I'm not very good at it), spending time with my neices and nephews, and camping.
