I do it because I know I probably should. Perhaps a running buddy might sway my opinion...I'm in transition mode career wise but I have a clear path I'm following and it would be great to find someone with passion and direction, but it doesn't have to be set in stone!Random thoughts and interests: singing in the car as loudly as possible, correcting people's grammar (I'm getting better at holding my tongue as I get older - it's even irritating for me sometimes!***for their air conditioning on a sweltering hot day, picking the item at the back of the shelf because the first one has been manhandled, making lists, organizing things, I'm trying really hard to be a minimalist, reading silly/useless websites - ie BuzzFeed, if there's a kids section in a museum where I get to touch things/do arts and crafts, I. am. there.PS I am more inclined to respond to messages that say more than hey and have some thought behind them!

Hey, I'm fun and outgoing but who isnt on here right?!? I enjoy the outdoors and no I'm not just saying that! Love camping,atving, fishing,..,I like going out to the movies just as much as staying home and watching one. i enjoy going for walks, or to the parks with my little one . Some people hate the amount I work and some people appreciate it! My priorities are straight and that's what matters. My daughter comes before all, work, myself and family, and then friends. I am not a fan of drama, I try to surround myself by positive people ( dont we all!!) .. I am not a bar star, I'll go out with my girl friends to dance and have a good time, just not often. I grew up playing outside and it is where I thrive. I love wild spaces and feel so lucky to live in a part of the world with some of the best. Cities are great for socialising, music and culture, but I like open, faraway places. I struggle with the balance between getting away from it all and being a valuable contributor.I cherish simplicity and admire self sufficiency; these are both things I strive to come back to in my own life. Someday I would like to grow my own food, build my own home, but for now I'm too busy exploring.For the past three years I have been exploring the world at a very human pace - by bicycle, sailboat and kayak I have travelled the length of the Americas - I have realised the world is very small if you have enough time. I love the feeling of the open ocean and the sight of land after a month at sea.I am a dreamer and a planner - I like to think big and make it happen. Every journey happens one day at a time.Documentation is always a focus for my wanderings - through writing, photo, audio, video - there are stories to be found literally everywhere and I love the challenge of trying to share them in beautiful ways.At the moment my lifestyle is very transient. I spend long stretches of time in the wilderness - for work and for play - and I love it. Some days I think I might try staying put for a moment or two, and then all of a sudden a new adventure has formed and I'm off and away again.
