I grew up playing outside and it is where I thrive. I love wild spaces and feel so lucky to live in a part of the world with some of the best. Cities are great for socialising, music and culture, but I like open, faraway places. I struggle with the balance between getting away from it all and being a valuable contributor.I cherish simplicity and admire self sufficiency; these are both things I strive to come back to in my own life. I spend long stretches of time in the wilderness - for work and for play - and I love it. Some days I think I might try staying put for a moment or two, and then all of a sudden a new adventure has formed and I'm off and away again.
