About Me

I'm Julie. I'm 26 going on 30. I'm 5'2" with red hair and blue eyes. I'm looking for a sincere, intelligent, and fun person to hang out with and get to know.I am not interested in hookups.I'm just looking for some new friends, and maybe something more down the road.I would be ecstatic if I managed to find 'the one' on here.I'm very quirky, and sometimes a little on the crazy side (in the adventurous, spontainious, bubbly, goofball sort of way). I've been told I'm very mature for my age, but I have a tendancy to forget that I'm an adult and play like a kid again... especially when I see swings or puddles. or MUD!!!!! I love being outdoors, and I'm happiest just standing in the rain listening to music. I also really enjoy hunting, camping, hiking, 4- I've never had the chance, but I would love to try snowboarding! I'm definitely a tomboy and a country girl at heart.I'm an audiophile... I am quite obsessed with music, and I listen to almost everything, almost all the time. I also play guitar, though nowhere near as well as I'd like to.My standbys are country and classic rock, but I listen to lots of other types of music depending on my mood, and will try hard to find something I can appreciate even in music I don't like (unless it really sucks).I'm a very artsy type of person... I mentioned that I play guitar... but I also play harmonica and spoons. I grew up around photography (my parents are semi-professional and have a darkroom and studio). Some of my photography has won awards, and some has been published. I write a lot... poetry, short stories, songs, and I have two books on the go (whether or not they'll ever be finished is yet to be determined)I also do ceramic sculpture, mostly random things, dragons, or pottery. I paint, oil and acryllic, I draw, mostly manga-style or sketching, and I have a small card-making buisness.I am a perpetual learner... I love to learn new things, no matter what it is, and prefer to have people around me from whom I can learn. (also an important thing for me in a partner). I love English... I try to avoid using "text type," and use punctuation properly whenever possible. I'd like to believe I'm articulate... I don't mind if spelling or punctuation isn't perfect, but people who type and speak with laziness piss me off to the utmost! I'm very talkative, too, can you tell? :)I have two bearded dragons, and they are more than just pets to me; they are my scaley babies.My friends and family are very important to me, I adore my nieces and nephews, and am close with my parents and siblings, and I am a very loyal person to those who get on my good side (however, it's very difficult to get on my bad side :) ).My greatest goal in life? Find a good man, settle down, white picket fence and yard full o' kids. And yes, I love tractors and trucks. ;)The values I look for in people: honesty, intelligence, an adventuresome spirit, kindness, and a general love of the outdoors and music. Any more questions, go ahead and ask! I'm a pretty open person, but beware, my sense of humour may bite. (I might be lame, but as long as someone else laughs I'm not the only dork in the room, so it's ok.)One of the mottos that I live by that would most appropriately fit here:"Take me as I am, or don't take me at all."I don't lie about who I am... you'll find out the truth soon enough. I won't change who I am for you, because I don't want to be another version of you. I am myself! :) If it's just for hanging out, I guess coffee would be ok for the first time. I would prefer anything but coffee or dinner/movie. I would hope for an activity that we both enjoy, and would give each other an opportunity to connect, get to know each other and have fun.Bowling? Science World? A hike? The more creative the better! :)

    well let see, I am a hard worker and indepent. I love to hang out with my friends and enjoy life. My style depends on my mood and usually generate to the 50s pin up.     Just so you don't get a shock later and have a hell of a story to tell your buddies, I use a manual wheelchair most of the time due to a snowboarding injury years ago. If you're still reading, you should also know I can get up & walk a bit and I pretty much do whatever I want. I travel, I ski, I fly fish, I love to surf. I did storm the wall. Recently, I did Tough Mudder, which was awesome and we're already signed up for next year.When the weather isn't fantastic , I like to play video games or the guitar and the drums... I'm not crazy good, but I like to play covers of Zeppelin, DMB and stuff I hear on the Peak. Otherwise, I might turn on the PS3 and play Uncharted, Last of Us, Rockband or COD.Working in healthcare takes up some of my time, but I straight up love what I do. I'm lucky that way. I talk about all the cool things that happened at work that day. I don't complain the way some people do.I'm looking for someone who enjoys a documentary on Netflix as much as the Walking Dead or Game of Thrones. Someone who can laugh at themselves, laugh at me, and laugh at the absurdity of life whenever you notice it. You know, someone who is kind of a bamf in their own right : ) I like the idea of hanging out, something low-key, possibly outside.Maybe an activity, then beers on a patio.
