I find a lot of men are scared of falling into the "friend" zone. Let me tell ya something: if you're cool and she's attracted to you, no matter how much time you spend before that first kiss, she's always going to be waiting for it.That being said: I don't kiss on the first date. I don't do anything physical other then maybe wrestle or play contact hockey before I'm comfortable with you. That could take a week or a year. I work hard and love what I do (it's not YouTube related) I love my family and enjoy most sports. Most of my friends are guys but I do go out for girls nights. I can fix most things as long as its basic: car, plumbing, busted things around the house, my gel nails, clothes and the odd meal.I love working out and I'm crazy fit. That being said I love beer and nachos any day of the week. I eat a LOT and don't want to be with someone who's grossed out by that. I enjoy a lot of my own time but if you're easy going then you can come along for the ride, I'm quite sarcastic and I can definitely take back what I dish out. I'm a faithful friend and really open minded. I'm not above or below anyone in any situation, neither are you.I'm really happy 99% of the time so someone who likes to goof around and laugh would be awesome. Um... Yeah. I think that sums it up? I'm Julie. I'm 26 going on 30. I'm 5'2" with red hair and blue eyes. I also play guitar, though nowhere near as well as I'd like to.My standbys are country and classic rock, but I listen to lots of other types of music depending on my mood, and will try hard to find something I can appreciate even in music I don't like (unless it really sucks).I'm a very artsy type of person... I mentioned that I play guitar... but I also play harmonica and spoons. I grew up around photography (my parents are semi-professional and have a darkroom and studio). Some of my photography has won awards, and some has been published. I write a lot... poetry, short stories, songs, and I have two books on the go (whether or not they'll ever be finished is yet to be determined)I also do ceramic sculpture, mostly random things, dragons, or pottery. I paint, oil and acryllic, I draw, mostly manga-style or sketching, and I have a small card-making buisness.I am a perpetual learner... I love to learn new things, no matter what it is, and prefer to have people around me from whom I can learn. (also an important thing for me in a partner). I love English... I try to avoid using "text type," and use punctuation properly whenever possible. I'd like to believe I'm articulate... I don't mind if spelling or punctuation isn't perfect, but people who type and speak with laziness piss me off to the utmost! I'm very talkative, too, can you tell? :)I have two bearded dragons, and they are more than just pets to me; they are my scaley babies.My friends and family are very important to me, I adore my nieces and nephews, and am close with my parents and siblings, and I am a very loyal person to those who get on my good side (however, it's very difficult to get on my bad side :) ).My greatest goal in life? Find a good man, settle down, white picket fence and yard full o' kids. And yes, I love tractors and trucks. ;)The values I look for in people: honesty, intelligence, an adventuresome spirit, kindness, and a general love of the outdoors and music. I won't change who I am for you, because I don't want to be another version of you. I am myself! :) If it's just for hanging out, I guess coffee would be ok for the first time. I would prefer anything but coffee or dinner/movie. I would hope for an activity that we both enjoy, and would give each other an opportunity to connect, get to know each other and have fun.Bowling? Spontaneous; amateur kayaker; artist (painting landscapes, drawing- I enjoy the challenge of drawing people, whatever catches my inspiration); nurse; friend; crochet's; sings in a choir; played in a band in highschool; movies and books are good past times; bored is not a word in my vocabulary; aim to be healthy ie keep active/eat well etc. I'm pretty versatile when it comes to music; some particular favorite genre's include: SKA, jazz, blues, and anything that I can dance to (oh yeah btw- I love dancing).
