About Me

I'm a firm believer there is someone out there for everyone. It's just a matter of finding that person you can't imagine living without. That person willing to create a life in which the joy this world has to offer is enhanced, magnified. Colors seeming brighter. Struggles seeming easier and less daunting. Dreams seeming more attainable. That's what I'm looking for. Someone who sees the incredible wonder of this world and wants to live it and experience it.... as a team. I am a chef, which means I work a lot... most weekends, many holidays. So I maximize all my time off doing things I love. I love to garden, disc-golf, hike, take my dogs out, go to farmers markets and art exhibits, movies, camping, kayaking. I would love to be able to go to more concerts, take mini trips and try cool new restaurants. Life the last few years, I was working over 80 hrs a week, and I'm just now starting to reclaim my life. My excitement for the endless possibilities cannot be contained :) Just would love to find someone to share it all with. I listen to quality music of all genres. And I love love love music. I have two dogs that I love to bits. They're awesome. It's hard to know what to say in these things... I guess if I've peaked an interest, we can go from there. I'm guessing this is asking for an ideal first date?? (the possibilities are so endless)It says to be specific, but spontaneity and adventure are fun too. Dinner, bar, hike, boat ride.... bowling.... Any environment where talking is easy, and yet not the only thing we've got going on.

    Hi :) I have an amazing career that I love. Every day, a child puts a smile on my face because I helped make a difference in their life. I teach children to advocate for themselves, help them gain confidence, and help strengthen their independence. I am moulding the minds of our future generations. My job is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. I love sports; baseball, hockey and volleyball the most. I love the Jays and I'm a Penguins fan. I like simple things like the sound of crickets, lazy days in the boat fishing or just floating. I like pb and j sandwiches and watching children be imaginative. That's about it... :) Want to get to know the real me and not the painfully shy, quiet one? Spend an afternoon/evening with my friends and I, hanging on the deck, grilling some meat and shooting the breeze. You have to pass the friend test anyway, so may as well kill two birds with one stone! The painfully shy, quiet one might attempt a coffee or ice cream date. I also like pool and darts. Don't get excited, I suck at both... but I enjoy them!

    well...i grew up in rural 204, so am a bit of a small town girl at heart. I recently became a teacher and have spent a couple years teaching and travelling overseas which was amazing, but now that the jets are back, i think im ready to be back as well!
