I'm an easy going and relaxed person with a good, slightly twisted sense of humour, I love to laugh. I read voraciously, enjoy board games, camp fires, hiking and camping (roughing it, not campsites). I enjoy pretty much anything on, in or near the water, a side effect of growing up on a lake. I am prone to random acts of singing or dancing when I'm hanging out at home in my pj's simply because the mood has struck and hey, why not, no one is there to witness my complete and utter lack of proficiency at either. This summer I rediscovered my love of volley ball, trust me, I'm not that good, I have aim issues apparently, but I love it, as I do with a few other sports, such as Frisbee (if there is a car anywhere near by, I will find it and I will hit it with laser like precision). The score of the game isn't important to me, I just want to get out, move, laugh and have fun. As a side note, I have always wanted to learn to play tennis, I have the court if you're patient and up for teaching. I also volunteer with kids regularly and love every second of it, who doesn't love the chance to act like a kid for an hour or two each week, I hear its good for you too, a wonderful side bonus. Really, I enjoy most things and am almost always up for a new adventure. I love my job which can be demanding at times, which basically translates to, during the summer and fall I can be called in at the last minute to do a small task or repair or I can be told, again at the last minute, that I am need to help out for a few extra hours, there by losing my evening off. I have learned to live with this because I honestly do love my job and I'm good at what I do. If we meet, understanding this is a must, I don't cancel or reschedule because I'm blowing you off or just don't want to see you, I just have a responsibility to take care of and I genuinely am disappointed that I have to put off what we have planned. I'm just looking to meet someone and see where it goes. I'd like to find someone who is up for trying different things on occasion. I am by nature a planner and would like to meet someone with a streak of spontaneity to them, I've found it makes for nice balance and fun. Maybe even someone I can talk into taking a dance class with me, (don't worry, I won't tell anyone or complain if you step on my toes, but that one has to go both ways).Ultimately I want a partner in life, based on mutual respect, honesty, understand and passion. I can't stand lies and games, just be up front and honest with me, whether its something I want to hear or not at least I can still respect you that way. I have a good and full life that I enjoy very much, I'm just looking for someone to share it with.

I'm a firm believer there is someone out there for everyone. It's just a matter of finding that person you can't imagine living without. My excitement for the endless possibilities cannot be contained :) Just would love to find someone to share it all with. I listen to quality music of all genres. And I love love love music. I have two dogs that I love to bits. They're awesome. It's hard to know what to say in these things... I guess if I've peaked an interest, we can go from there. I'm guessing this is asking for an ideal first date?? (the possibilities are so endless)It says to be specific, but spontaneity and adventure are fun too. Dinner, bar, hike, boat ride.... bowling.... Any environment where talking is easy, and yet not the only thing we've got going on.
