I'm the kind of person that likes to enjoy the simple things in life. I like to laugh, be sarcastic, and basically be a smart ass. I also can be very goofy, if there's enough sugar in my system, and I can be a bit of a nerd. I also like more modern stuff, but I mostly stick to rock and radio 104.5 type music. And I play piano and guitar, and I love to sing!I read quite a bit too. I like basically anything fantasy or sci-fi. Yeah, I'm a nerd. Also, anything by John Green. For movies, I mostly stick to comedies. (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, etc.). I Love You Man, Role Models, and Zombieland are some other favorites. I don't really get to watch a lot of TV, but I like the Walking Dead, the Following, the Big Bang Theory, Always Sunny, etc. Honestly, I'll pretty much watch anything and be entertained.I love trying new foods! I'll eat mostly anything unless it has bell peppers in it. Some of my favorites are sushi, tacos, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Kind of a random assortment, I know.Sooo, you finally got to the bottom of my rambling profile. I'm looking for someone who shares some of the same interests, but can also teach me something new. And if you can appreciate a hardworking, caring, sometimes (a lot of times) goofy woman, you should probably shoot me a message. I would enjoy pretty much anything where we can have a good conversation. So no movies or overly loud bars. But taking a walk, grabbing coffee, getting some dinner, etc. would be perfect. If you really want to know about me, you'll have to talk to me. To just give a little bit of information, I enjoy hanging out with friends, I enjoy getting tattoos, I have quite a few and all of my tattoos mean something to me. I have my teaching degree, but at this point and time where I live isn't doing too much hiring for teachers. I hope to teach again soon, but for right now I'm a manager, which is a pretty decent job. I would say I'm an introvert, I'm a pretty quiet person most days, but do have my times where I'm the life of the party. I love to smile and laugh and have a great time. Some people say I laugh too much, but I don't think there is such a thing. I do have a serious side, don't mistake my love of laughing for always taking things as a joke. I try to focus on the positive things in life, rather than dwell on the bad. I also have a serious love for hockey. I try to make it to as many games as I can, and just love the energy at the games. It'd be pretty cool if you liked hockey too :) Just want to put this tidbit of information out there, I'm looking for someone who is tobacco-free and drug-free, (and that DOES include marijuana) and preferably someone who only drinks occasionally/socially or just on the weekends. If you like to drink every single night, or every other night, or if when you do drink you like to get to the point of passing out or not being able to walk, I'm not going to be interested in dating you, that's just the way it is.As far as looks go, I don't really have a "type" I prefer a guy who is taller than me, but since I'm only 5'5" it's not difficult to do lol. I don't have a particular preference as far as looks go, he can be any race, any type of body, hair color, eye color, etc. Qualities I look for in a guy is someone who is educated, and that it shows through his mannerisms and how he speaks and dresses. Someone preferably with a job and car because it's so much easier in a relationship if both people drive and work. Hello there. I moved to JAX two years ago for my current job, and to be closer to family. I didn't know anyone except for family when I moved here . I've dated people since I've been here but it just didn't work out which is what dating is about...an interview process (some short term, some long term) all with the goal of seeing if this person is worth the investment. I have a lot to bring to the table in a relationship and would like to find someone that can reciprocate. I've never been one of those girls who was obsessed with getting married. I put my career first and have had fun dating and now that I'm 30, I'm looking for something more. I want to start a life with my best friend, not have a rotating door of pointless dates.
