I'm the kind of person that likes to enjoy the simple things in life. I like to laugh, be sarcastic, and basically be a smart ass. I also can be very goofy, if there's enough sugar in my system, and I can be a bit of a nerd. I'm not overly materialistic, needy, or high maintenance.I love hiking, the beach, and the outdoors in general. I love hockey, and I'm a huge Flyers fan! I have a full time job working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am going to grad school part time for a masters in social work. And I intern at a geriatric psych unit. I also like more modern stuff, but I mostly stick to rock and radio 104.5 type music. And I play piano and guitar, and I love to sing!I read quite a bit too. I like basically anything fantasy or sci-fi. Yeah, I'm a nerd. Also, anything by John Green. For movies, I mostly stick to comedies. (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, etc.). I Love You Man, Role Models, and Zombieland are some other favorites. I don't really get to watch a lot of TV, but I like the Walking Dead, the Following, the Big Bang Theory, Always Sunny, etc. Honestly, I'll pretty much watch anything and be entertained.I love trying new foods! I'll eat mostly anything unless it has bell peppers in it. Some of my favorites are sushi, tacos, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Kind of a random assortment, I know.Sooo, you finally got to the bottom of my rambling profile. I'm looking for someone who shares some of the same interests, but can also teach me something new. And if you can appreciate a hardworking, caring, sometimes (a lot of times) goofy woman, you should probably shoot me a message. I would enjoy pretty much anything where we can have a good conversation. So no movies or overly loud bars. But taking a walk, grabbing coffee, getting some dinner, etc. would be perfect. I think it is difficult to write about one's self, but here it goes... I graduated from HS and a nursing program. I am currently a Medical Assistant. My plans are to work with children. Hopefully, I'll land in a pediatrician's office. I am currently working in a doctors office during the week and doing home health care on the weekends. Some of my other interests include listening to music(prefer country, but listen to various other genres too). I enjoy chatting online and going into the country singing rooms. It's amazing how talented some people are! I enjoy watching movies too, which tend to be "chick flicks" and usually have those "only in the movies dreams come true" endings. But there is always hopes and dreams... don't ya think? I also enjoy time with my friends and family. Now, to get down to the "nitty gritty," I've been told that I'm a really sweet and nice person. At times, I even been accused of being "too nice." Personally, I do not know how that can be, but oh well! I'm a person who doesn't want to play games and am straight up and honest. I place a lot of emphasis on honesty in people. I also love a great sense of humor; love to laugh and enjoy life! I'm not a material person. As the saying goes...."What matters most in life can't be bought."
