Hello, well first off I am a mom of a beautiful 3 year old and I love being a mom! I am currently finishing my Psychology degree through online University. I really enjoy movies, and am a bit of a nut for Marvel comic movies. I don't get a chance to get out very often so I thought I would try this site, just to add something a little different to life. I adore animals, and have a huge soft spot for dogs. I was never big on the bar life, I would rather hang out with friends and do something low key. However... I still like a fun night out now and again, gives me an excuse to look pretty. I'm mostly casual, but like most girls I enjoy pampering myself when I get the chance. :)I am a really honest person, to the point where I would rather hurt someone's feeling than tell a lie. That isn't always a good thing but I take honesty seriously, mostly because I believe that if you're honest then you're trustworthy. As much as I would like to date, right now I'm just looking for some good conversation and then if we click it will go from there. I'm very busy with my son and school so time for dating seems hopeless. With that said, if there is someone I meet on this site that I really enjoy talking with then a special effort will be made by me to make time. It is very important to me that the people who message me love kids and animals! I used to prefer a casual first date, movies at home kinda thing... now I think I'd like to go a little more old school and go out for the first few dates. As for the very first date, something different/casual would be nice. Going to a football or hockey game would be fun, or pool!! Something that would give us a chance to talk but if there is an awkward moment you can easily be distracted by the game:p

I'm the kind of person that likes to enjoy the simple things in life. I like to laugh, be sarcastic, and basically be a smart ass. I also can be very goofy, if there's enough sugar in my system, and I can be a bit of a nerd. I'm not overly materialistic, needy, or high maintenance.I love hiking, the beach, and the outdoors in general. I love hockey, and I'm a huge Flyers fan! Basically, I want to make a career out of helping people.Music is an important part of my life. I love classic rock! I have a collection of old vinyls. I could go on.... I also like more modern stuff, but I mostly stick to rock and radio 104.5 type music. And I play piano and guitar, and I love to sing!I read quite a bit too. I like basically anything fantasy or sci-fi. Yeah, I'm a nerd. Also, anything by John Green. For movies, I mostly stick to comedies. (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, etc.). I Love You Man, Role Models, and Zombieland are some other favorites. I don't really get to watch a lot of TV, but I like the Walking Dead, the Following, the Big Bang Theory, Always Sunny, etc. Honestly, I'll pretty much watch anything and be entertained.I love trying new foods! I'll eat mostly anything unless it has bell peppers in it. Some of my favorites are sushi, tacos, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Kind of a random assortment, I know.Sooo, you finally got to the bottom of my rambling profile. I'm looking for someone who shares some of the same interests, but can also teach me something new. And if you can appreciate a hardworking, caring, sometimes (a lot of times) goofy woman, you should probably shoot me a message. I would enjoy pretty much anything where we can have a good conversation. So no movies or overly loud bars. But taking a walk, grabbing coffee, getting some dinner, etc. would be perfect. I'm going to be completely honest, cut right to the chase, and lay it all out there. I hate getting people's hopes up. (Including my own.) So I'm going to be pretty ballsy and try to avoid the awkwardness later (online dating is kind of awkward anyway.) I have hsv. I'm not going to post a sad sob story here just being fully honest. I'll gladly share if you are interested. I went from the oh crap moment to actually doing research and asking questions... guess what it's just a skin condition. And once you have knowledge you can protect yourself from giving it to another. But sadly most people don't know they have it.So if you are still reading you can tell already that I am completely up front and transparent. I'm finding this to be a rare quality. Why play the guessing game? Why make things harder then they need to be? I love going to concerts, local shows, enjoy card games, bars, dancing, motorcycles, and cars. I'm very close to my family and friends and would do anything for them.I want someone who has their life somewhat together. They have motivation and ambition. I have a great job that I love and a house that I'm debating on buying. I want someone who likes to go out and not be a home body but would enjoy nights in with a movie cuddled up.
