I'm the kind of person that likes to enjoy the simple things in life. I like to laugh, be sarcastic, and basically be a smart ass. I also can be very goofy, if there's enough sugar in my system, and I can be a bit of a nerd. I'm not overly materialistic, needy, or high maintenance.I love hiking, the beach, and the outdoors in general. I love hockey, and I'm a huge Flyers fan! And I also love sitting around, shooting the breeze, and having a few drinks with good friends! My family is pretty crazy, usually in a good way, so spending time with them is entertaining as well. I have a full time job working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am going to grad school part time for a masters in social work. And I intern at a geriatric psych unit. Basically, I want to make a career out of helping people.Music is an important part of my life. I love classic rock! I have a collection of old vinyls. I could go on.... I also like more modern stuff, but I mostly stick to rock and radio 104.5 type music. And I play piano and guitar, and I love to sing!I read quite a bit too. I like basically anything fantasy or sci-fi. Yeah, I'm a nerd. Also, anything by John Green. For movies, I mostly stick to comedies. (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, etc.). I Love You Man, Role Models, and Zombieland are some other favorites. I don't really get to watch a lot of TV, but I like the Walking Dead, the Following, the Big Bang Theory, Always Sunny, etc. Honestly, I'll pretty much watch anything and be entertained.I love trying new foods! I'll eat mostly anything unless it has bell peppers in it. Some of my favorites are sushi, tacos, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Kind of a random assortment, I know.Sooo, you finally got to the bottom of my rambling profile. I'm looking for someone who shares some of the same interests, but can also teach me something new. And if you can appreciate a hardworking, caring, sometimes (a lot of times) goofy woman, you should probably shoot me a message. I would enjoy pretty much anything where we can have a good conversation. So no movies or overly loud bars. But taking a walk, grabbing coffee, getting some dinner, etc. would be perfect. I have a wonderful son who is my world if you have a problem with me being a mother you can stop reading. I like to watch movies and just chill out. I really enjoy football and watch just about every sport.I eventually want to be a nurse practioner but right now I am just taking it one day at a timie. I am going to be doing a paramedic to RN program once I get situated in Paramedic. I eventually do want a full family, but right now that isnt my biggest priority.I have a really adorable 4 year old son, he is my world. I am not expecting someone to be his father but who ever I do date or am friends with better treat him right also. I am a dedicated mother and finishing up school. I am a very driven person and I like a challenge. I was also in the military the Army to be exact. I am also very into sports..I love to talk sports and I will play video games too. I and not focused on finding a relationship but if it happens it happens. Any guy I do date has to like sports though.I can appreciate almost all music but my favorite is country. I would like something that is thought out. It doesnt have to be expensive just fun and relaxing. Going somewhere to a beach or maybe even amusement park is fun. Even just going to a park and bike riding or just a picnic. I am pretty easy going.
