I am shy, but if you can get past that I'm friendly and loyal.I am a down-home, country-at-heart girl, but I love an excuse to get dressed up. I guess what I mean by this is that I prefer jeans and tank tops, but I enjoy the opportunity to don a fancy dress, heels, and put on some makeup.I am a modern girl, but I wish that etiquette rules were still obeyed. Having generally accepted guidelines for behavior in social situations is something that appeals to me. I find it lamentable that ours is a society of catch-as-catch-can. Rudeness is unacceptable.I will be honest with you. If I say I'm going to call you, it's because I'm going to call you. If we go out and I say I had a nice time, it's because I had a nice time. I expect the same in return.I'm a grammar nut. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature. Words are something that I truly enjoy. The downside to that is that one of my pet peeves is grammar and spelling errors, so maybe run your messages through spellcheck before you send them. I recently transitioned from working in a factory to working in the headquarters of a big corporation. It's been a big change for my life, but in the best possible way. It is not my dream job, but I am thankful for the opportunity to get my foot in the door. I have few hobbies, but they all involve being outside. I enjoy vegetable gardening, cooking, camping, and fishing.I have a 10'x20' vegetable garden in my back yard where I grow heirloom vegetables from seed. I take immense pleasure from seeing something start from practically nothing.I am a grill gal--it's my favorite way to cook! My favorite meal to cook on the grill is a bacon-I am a rustic camper, which means I bring in everything I'll need. No running water, electrical hook-ups, or trailers for me. It's whatever you can carry!I fish, but mainly for panfish. I've never had anyone who could take me out fishing for game fish. My favorite books have some sort of fantasy element to them and are typically series. --The Emberverse series by S. M.-- K. Rowling -Movies are pretty hit and miss for me. I will not watch horror movies though.My taste in television is varied. There are usually only a few shows I watch each season.I'm into: -Justified -Sons of Anarchy -Downton Abbey -Girls -True Blood -The Newsroom -Boardwalk Empire -Game of Thrones -Mad Men -The Walking Dead --Body of Proof -Grey's Anatomy -Supernatural -Glee -Bones -Magic City -The White QueenPlus a bunch of stuff that isn't on the air anymore, like: -United States of Tara -Big Love -Hung -Sex and the CityMusic tastes are all over the board. I like pretty much anything that isn't really heavy screamer music. I just can't get into that stuff.I like food. Nothing too extreme, but I can usually be persuaded to try something. My cooking tends towards Italian. I am a foodie, through and through. I like American, Italian, steakhouses, and sushi. I prefer independent restaurants to chains. I dig casual restaurants all the way up to formal attire required places; I like the casual atmosphere of a microbrewery, but love the feeling of being dressed up as well. I'm looking for someone of character. I want someone who will do what is right over what is easy. I want someone with a solid work ethic, someone who isn't afraid of work, but knows how to have a good time, too. I'm willing to put some effort in on my end, but I have to know that you're willing to do the same.

I really love it here, and am still surprised by all there is to do. I spend most of my time now working with theaters and non for profit groups, so there really isn't a better town for it. I'm honest and down to earth. Trying new things and meeting new people always make for the best parts of my day. I love to laugh, and have a great sense of humor. Conversation is huge for me. I can talk, and yes sometimes argue, about movies, music, sports, books, food, politics, and religion. There's really no topic I'll shy away from. That being said, I'm not into drama at all and think fighting for the sake of it is pretty ridiculous. Mostly I'm looking for someone to hang out with and have a good time. If that turns into a relationship great, but that's kind of out of our hands. Let's figure that out together. Somewhere we can talk and grab a drink or two. So I guess that means libraries are out.
