Well, no one ever expects to find themselves on an online dating site but here we are. I tend to work a lot, and I work night shift, which makes it difficult to meet new people and I'm pretty much over the bar scene. As for the basics, I'm 29 and I have been a nurse for almost 7 years, I have my own house and car and I'm neither high-maintenance nor a psycho.I am at the point in my life that I would like to find the person for me. We should be building each other up *** tearing each other down. I try to lead a healthy lifestyle and would like someone that does the same. I love to workout and try to stay in shape. I hit my regular gym a few days a week and then I do a bootcamp/crossfit class 3 days a week. It's tough and sometimes I can barely move afterwards but I love the feeling of accomplishment. Some interesting things about me:-I am a die hard White Sox fan, like kinda obsessed (I could make an exception for a cubs fan but you would have to be pretty spectacular)-I love working out everyday but I hate running-I have a freckle in the middle of my top lip-I'm obsessed with kettle chips of any flavor and Jimmy Johns-I recycle OBSESSIVELY-I used to hate the Big Bang Theory but now I love it...if you tell anyone I will completely deny it-I may be the only person on the planet that finds possums cute-I'm terrified of scary movies and if a preview comes on I scramble to change the channel before I see anything

And although I can be a pain in the ass sometimes, Id give the shirt off my back to a stranger or even my worst enemy if they needed it more than I did.. Im blunt and straight forward, but not heartless.. Im strong and independent.. I love deeply and without faults (although my friends say its how I end up hurt so much) Im passionate about the things I like and I love to be a goof.. Lifes to short to take it so seriously.. And after all that Ive been through.. I refuse to let anything hold me back.. If I choose to stay Im gonna make the best possible life I can for my daughter and I.. Havent quite decided yet.. I've yet to find anything I trully like about this site.. Ok, well maybe once.. Hell, maybe I should go all blonde bimbo and then parade myself through a few bars.. I'd prolly have better luck.. I work a lot, but that is partly because I don't really have anything else to do at night. I love to read. It's a problem. I read even when I should be doing other things. I would much rather read than watch TV/movies. I like watching movies, but don't have a long enough attention span to watch them by myself (although I can read for hours on end). I'm a graduate student trying to get my Ph.D...I love it and hate it at the same time.
