How doth one describe themselves to a complete stranger that both tells the core of their persona without scaring the new found friend away? Well, let's see. I'm 30. I'm widowed. It sucks, yes. Wasn't in the plan but here I am. Supposedly, us widows still have dating potential because we're not bitter and angry (so says' the books!) but rather well-loved and functional. Woo! I function! I have two spawnlings, a 7-year old mini me daughter and a 3-year old toddler boy of terror. Kids rock, mine are the coolest. I'm biased, however. I'm usually a strict parent but they say cute things and I melt like a chump. Ah well! Besides being a parent, I do that whole working to pay bills thing. I have two part-time gigs, one is a sales job, the other is working with runaway/homeless teenagers. I love kids and animals. I have a whole mini-zoo (5 dogs, 3 cats, 2 parrots, a pig, a horse, ect..) . Anything that you can be goofy with and not be judged is alright by me. I'm fun, goofy, loud, awkward, a bit silly.. I'm a giant kid myself. I can occasionally dress up nice and pretend to be a pretty woman but that's rare. I like to get dirty, ATV, ride horses, go fishing, I can hang with the guys but I also deeply value my relationships with my close girlfriends.I'm a pretty laid-back, easy going girl and looking for similar type people. I'm just looking to make friends and connections with good folks! I'm a non-jealous, drama-free, sociable person who prefers the same. If you're the possessive and insecure type, please don't bother me. I'm comfortable with who I am and I want someone who's the same. If this is a potential problem for you, you're probably not mature to be with me anywho!) When in a relationship, I'm committed, devoted, and faithful. I don't believe in cheating. I don't see the purpose - if you don't want to be with the person you're with, tell them. It's about respect! If you love someone and you respect them, why lie and sneak? Bogus, I say.Physical attraction has to be there for chemistry but humor goes pretty far with me! I find men who can make me laugh, laugh at themselves, and don't take the world too seriously absolutely charming. Something challenging is always fun! Dinner is fine, too, but it's a little more interesting to do things that involve teamwork and a thought process when on a first date! You can tell right away how someone handles new things and stress!

I am a chill, down to earth, fun-loving girl. I like to camp, fish, sit out around a bon fire with a few drinks and a bunch of friends. I enjoy hiking, and trail running. I bought a beat up mountain bike last Summer that I am really looking forward to put to use this Summer. I like to cook and bake. I am the only girl in my family so my Mom molded me with many of the traits and characteristics a "perfect little housewife" would have. Cleaning, cooking, baking, all that great stuff. I appreciate her so much for doing so. I do know how to cook and bake, and honestly I enjoy it.
