About Me

So a little about myself...... I moved to a town of 200, possibly less,when I was 18. A big culture shock for sure but I can not picture living anywhere else. I am a mother to the most wonderful little boy. Becoming a mom has taught me more then I ever imagined. I can guarantee my patience level has grown 15 times. Which is never a bad thing.I recently converted to an all organic diet. I'm pretty conscientious about the earth, and try to do my part to help keep it around. I enjoy being outdoors from picnics to hiking everything really. My absolute favorite thing to do is cooking and baking, and I must say I'm pretty darn good at it. I am really easy going and down to earth. I love the simple life and I will always appreciate and be thankful for everything in my life. I truly believe that people are placed in our lives when we least expect it and that everything happens for a reason, we may not realize or know the reason at first but hold tight and it will all make sense.I'm pretty diverse with the music I listen to. And of course my # 1 favorite is my gorgeous sons perfect little voice when he sings.I am always up for having a good time. I'm not to big on the club scene. And would perfer a smaller group of friends.I'm always willing to lend a hand,and I love to learn new things. In fact I'm going be changing my own oil today, its a first.... I have a big heart, which isn't always such a good thing, because it has got me hurt a few times. But I don't let that stop me, I am who I am, learning as I grow to become a better version of myself. I think a good first date should be simple and relaxing. Since they always make me nervous I like to do something that has the opposite effect. Nature and being outside has that effect on me. So, a walk or hike or anything outside, at a park, then lunch, simple nothing fancy, it is the first date. Dinner, for me, is best to do on a 2nd date.

    So about me, huh? I am just a country girl that is looking for somebody that I can be myself around & somebody that I can trust. I am extremely determined in life & very independent as well. I LOVE to laugh & have a good time. I have set very high standards for myself in life & I have high standards for the people that are a part of my life too. I refuse to let my guard down with people.....it takes a lot for me to trust & completley open up to you. But it is definitely worth the challenge of trying. ;) I am not like your average girl......I am very unique & I am very proud of what I have accomplished in life. Life is too short to sit back & wait for things to happen......I believe in making things happen on my own. I have a daughter & a son who are my heart & soul. Everything that I do in life is because of my babies.I love spending time outdoors (going to the mountains, beach, lake or waterfalls). Music is a HUGE part of my life & it clearly gets me through the day. I love to play & watch baseball (preferably the Braves), love to fish, chill out on the couch & watch a good movie & snuggle. So what do I want??? I want somebody that will be honest with me. Somebody that has responsibilites & takes care of them. I want to be able to laugh until I cry, somebody that has a good time no matter what. I am not the type to sit back & watch......I am the person the other people are usually watching. Need to find somebody that I will feed off of & that will bring out the best in me. I am looking for somebody that is respectful, sincere, genuine & one that will be there for me if I need them. My heart & eyes have always fallen for the bad boys.....& honestly.....I just can't help it. I am a sucker for a man in a black shirt & tattoos. I want that bad boy with a good heart. The type that will fight for me if needed. I love confidence in a man & knowing where they stand in life. I want to feel protected by him. Is that too much to ask for? Something spontaneous!! Nothing out of a movie.......the whole "restaurant date" is kinda boring. First impressions are the key in life. Do something crazy that will never be forgotten. Think about it for a while & actually put your heart into it. Make it fun!!!

    I have never been married and I don't have any kids. Also, I don't mind if you have kids. I just wouldn't be interested in someone that has many kids from many women. I do live in the middle of nowhere, but I don't plan to be here forever. I am planning on this being my last year. Next spring ***, I want to find a teaching job somewhere else and purchase a house. I am looking towards picking somewhere on the eastern side of the state again. I guess being on my own has made me a little more independent. I can handle going and doing things on my own, but sometimes it would be nice to have someone else to do them with. I am not looking for a one night stand.I enjoy being with my friends, family, hanging out with my nephews, playing with my dogs (a chocolate lab "; and a puggle"Ludwig" Obviously, I enjoy a lot of things. :)I like to go out to see people and go places on some weekends, but I also like evenings in with a good book or a movie. I like most kinds of music. I like anything from pop, rock, oldies, emo, punk, celtic, rap, powwow (Yes, I said powwow. ha ha), little bit of country, etc. I will admit that I do still like a couple of the boy bands from years ago. (NKOTB and BSB)I do have a couple of tattoos, but they aren't where everyone sees them. First dates.. hmm.. Maybe some minigolf, paddle boating, coffee, or something else. It all depends where we are and what you enjoy doing. I enjoy trying out new restaurants, going to wine tasting places, checking out events that are in the area or anything that seems interesting.

    First of all, yes I want to find someone that is a potential for marriage as the profile says. However, I'm not talking about getting married immediately. I want someone I can get to know & date & be exclusive with for awhile. Someone I can get to know for a good long while before just jumping into a commitment like marriage.
