So a little about myself...... I moved to a town of 200, possibly less,when I was 18. A big culture shock for sure but I can not picture living anywhere else. I am a mother to the most wonderful little boy. Becoming a mom has taught me more then I ever imagined. I can guarantee my patience level has grown 15 times. Which is never a bad thing.I recently converted to an all organic diet. I'm pretty conscientious about the earth, and try to do my part to help keep it around. I enjoy being outdoors from picnics to hiking everything really. My absolute favorite thing to do is cooking and baking, and I must say I'm pretty darn good at it. I am really easy going and down to earth. I love the simple life and I will always appreciate and be thankful for everything in my life. I truly believe that people are placed in our lives when we least expect it and that everything happens for a reason, we may not realize or know the reason at first but hold tight and it will all make sense.I'm pretty diverse with the music I listen to. And of course my # 1 favorite is my gorgeous sons perfect little voice when he sings.I am always up for having a good time. I'm not to big on the club scene. And would perfer a smaller group of friends.I'm always willing to lend a hand,and I love to learn new things. In fact I'm going be changing my own oil today, its a first.... I have a big heart, which isn't always such a good thing, because it has got me hurt a few times. But I don't let that stop me, I am who I am, learning as I grow to become a better version of myself. I think a good first date should be simple and relaxing. Since they always make me nervous I like to do something that has the opposite effect. Nature and being outside has that effect on me. So, a walk or hike or anything outside, at a park, then lunch, simple nothing fancy, it is the first date. Dinner, for me, is best to do on a 2nd date.

What to write... It is a bit hard to write about yourself. I am finally at a place in my life where I am ready to get out there and meet new people; hopefully find that special someone. I am currently a social worker in the medical field; I am passionate about the people I work with and truly enjoy going to work everyday. Each day brings something new and challenging. I consider myself to be pretty laid-back in most aspects and open to learn anything. I love spending time outdoors whether it be camping, laying around at the beach, hiking or grilling out with friends. While going out and doing things is fun, I also don't mind spending time relaxing at home. I recently took a rock climbing class and loved it! It was so much fun. I can't wait to continue learning and expanding my skills. I also enjoy going to live music shows and exploring the area; always looking to experience something new. My family and friends are very important to me, so finding someone who also values their friends and family is important. I am also taking on my first 5k in October. I enjoy traveling and seeing what the world has to offer, whether it is here in the US or anywhere in the world. This last summer I spent 4 weeks backpacking through Europe. It was amazing. I also spent 3 weeks in Thailand when I was in college and that was an experience of a lifetime. I hope to find someone who enjoys traveling as much as I do. I want to continue traveling and experiencing the world, whether it is here in the US or abroad. My ideal match is someone who is confident, positive, likes to experience knew things and can have fun. A sense of humor is also a plus! A person who values family and friends, loves animals, and stays active. It is also important to me to find someone who is goal-oriented and knows where they want to be in life or at least working towards something. I am an easy-going, fun- I love to travel, read, go camping and hang out with friends! I love spring, and love being outdoors! I am currently a substitute teacher, and babysit and tutor as well. I am currently attending UIC in the Special Education Master's program.
