About Me

What to write... It is a bit hard to write about yourself. I am finally at a place in my life where I am ready to get out there and meet new people; hopefully find that special someone. I am currently a social worker in the medical field; I am passionate about the people I work with and truly enjoy going to work everyday. Each day brings something new and challenging. I consider myself to be pretty laid-back in most aspects and open to learn anything. I love spending time outdoors whether it be camping, laying around at the beach, hiking or grilling out with friends. While going out and doing things is fun, I also don't mind spending time relaxing at home. I recently took a rock climbing class and loved it! It was so much fun. I can't wait to continue learning and expanding my skills. I also enjoy going to live music shows and exploring the area; always looking to experience something new. My family and friends are very important to me, so finding someone who also values their friends and family is important. I am also taking on my first 5k in October. I enjoy traveling and seeing what the world has to offer, whether it is here in the US or anywhere in the world. This last summer I spent 4 weeks backpacking through Europe. It was amazing. I also spent 3 weeks in Thailand when I was in college and that was an experience of a lifetime. I hope to find someone who enjoys traveling as much as I do. I want to continue traveling and experiencing the world, whether it is here in the US or abroad. My ideal match is someone who is confident, positive, likes to experience knew things and can have fun. A sense of humor is also a plus! A person who values family and friends, loves animals, and stays active. It is also important to me to find someone who is goal-oriented and knows where they want to be in life or at least working towards something.     I just moved back to town and I'm looking for positive personalities to get to know. I'm a fairly open-minded gal with a laid back attitude and enjoy a large variety of activities. It's by chance and circumstance that I came back home to be around family after eight years gone.I'm very strong minded but I'm not going to act like I know everything or have it all figured out. But I will say, or rather declare, I do know who I am and what I want. So being the gardener that I am, let me weed out some of what I don't want. I don't hold an ego nor do I want to spend my free time with anyone who does. That is my number one disgust. Therefore, if you're a full-time musician or spend all your extra time playing your heart out, don't waste the little time you have left talking to me about yourself and your music. However, because of my passion for music (all but hard-core rap/gangster), I can certainly appreciate a fiddler of the liking.If you have pictures flexing in the mirror, no shirt on, or don't have a picture with your face clearly visible, don't bother. And as I'm fully aware that looks are only skin deep, there's gotta be an attraction. I'm also not attracted to black guys and if one finds that offensive, that's personal problem, and not mine. If you have a picture of yourself with another woman, I'm immediately turned off because all that screams is insecurity because there's no reason for it other than to make you seem or look better. (which doesn't work)As I'm resourceful by nature, I'm using this site for one purpose only so I figure specificity will save your AND my time. I'm not looking to make friends nor meet online sluts. I also have no plans to merely carry on pointless conversations back and forth on this site. And last but not least, I'm not looking to jump into a relationship. I'm looking to get to know someone I'm interested in, who's interested in me.
