My professional background is in public history/museums and I am passionate about educating people about the past. I've worked very hard to build my career and am incredibly proud of what I've personally accomplished and also the work my organization does every day. I would love to meet new people in the education/non-I love hiking and camping but don't do either as often as I would like. I enjoy all the usual stuff as well (dinner, movies, etc.), but not really into the bar/party scene. I love road trips, especially when they involve wacky roadside attractions and unplanned detours. I'm generally a happy and optimistic person and want to be around others that try to find the silver lining -- rather than dwelling on the negative. I'd love to find somebody else who is ambitious and career-driven, but knows how to balance that with some fun down time.
