When it comes to what I think is attractive in a guy, I have to say that I think smart is sexy (see the headline? :) and that it’s ok to be a little geeky - I know I certainly have my share of geeky moments! It doesn't matter to me if I'm taller than my guy, so long as it doesn't matter to you. First dates generally have some pressure associated with them, by their very nature, so something easy and comfortable is the way to go. I'm not a huge fan of movies for a first date as it's too easy to spend hours with someone and barely learn anything about them or their personality. Coffee, lunch/dinner, or drinks are all good options. Of course, something like mini golf or bowling could be a fun option ...

I am caucasion, but Netherton's causes me to have a slightly sunburned appearance. It is not a sunburn however, and it is not contagious. It requires daily maintenance, and because of it I have to be extremely careful in the sun and heat.I care more about character and pesonality than looks. I love good conversations as well as spending some quiet time together watching TV and movies. I do like to have time to myself, especially after full days of teaching, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be around people. For a first date, I would want to meet for lunch or coffee on a Saturday or Sunday. I think it's important for the first date to be in a place that is comfortable and allows for conversation. I love seeing movies, but it's important to be able to talk on a first date :).
