I'm a 29-year-old marketing writer with a love for coffee, sci-fi films, the occasional PC game, writing novels, checking out local foodie hot-spots, metal music and travel. I am looking to chat with new friends and maybe meet someone special. I am NOT looking for one-night hook-ups. I am loyal, caring and independent. I have an open mind and love trying new things. I am a curvy girl but I think I rock it and am active two to three times a week (or more). I adore running outside in a thunderstorm, hanging out with friends and spontaneously driving outside of the city to see the stars.I’m also a bit all-over the map. I am laid-back but somewhat fashionable. I don't know a lot about sports, but very much enjoy taking in a game live or on TV if that's what you're into! I make no sense… but at least I know what I like!I believe that life is like a Choose Your Own Adventure. You make your choices and you are in charge of your own personal happiness. And you need to make your choices based upon your own happiness - because if you try to anticipate the outcome, it will never work out in your favour. If you're not happy with your life, it is never too late for change - after all, we only live once! (I refuse to come back as a butterfly.)I prefer some independence in a relationship. I work for what I have, and will never be the kind of person who needs her guy with her all the time. But would love someone who can take me out and show me a good time, and who is interested in traveling the world before settling down with a house and a kid or two.     Ok.. I must confess I'm not the best at describing myself so.... I thought I would throw out some keywords that would describe what I like to do. If you recognize yourself in some of them, I think it might be worth taking the time to keep on reading. If you don't keep on reading, I promise I won't be upset with you. I will never know anyway :) Family, Travel (whether it be Vegas or down a backroad, I like seeing new places), surprises, music, books, last minute plans, open mindedness, photography, craziness, spontaneity, going out (but also staying in), sharing, simplicity, respect, down to earth (however fantasy is also very important), people, sense of humor about yourself, awareness. And yet another short list of things that I'm not really fond of: - Excuses - Self-centered people (but, hey Have you ever really heard anybody saying yes, yes, I am definitely self-centered. So this one doesn't really count!!***Superficial people (but same problem as #2) And most importantly alot of what I do revolves around my four wonderful kiddos, so patience and understanding with me are kind of a must, but I promise if you're brave enough to give it a shot you'll never be bored ;) anything that ends with a smile and "when i can see you again"
