About Me

Well, here it goes...I am a single mom with 2 children ***yr old and ***yr old), I also work full time and I'm finishing college (B.S. in Computer Science). I am looking for a serious relationship but would like to take it slow. I have been through some tough times these past few years, but it has made me a stronger person, and increased my faith in God. I am looking for someone who is honest, mature, confident, and will not only be my partner in life, but also my best friend. I would also prefer someone that leads a healthy lifestyle - I have lost over 40 lbs and want to lose more, so I do exercise several times per week and eat healthier foods. I also want to point out that I am an independent person, and I am not on this site to find a "replacement dad" for my kids. Even though I am independent, I still want someone share my life with. As far as my personality goes, I am shy at first, but after I get comfortable I will start teasing and joking quite a bit. I can be very sarcastic at times, but I also know when to be serious. I'm very ambitious, motivated, and love learning and experiencing new things! I try to see the positive in all situations. Now I'll be honest and tell you my faults...I've been told numerous times that I'm extremely stubborn and I "think too much". The "thinking too much" side of me is the part that analyzes everything (which is why I'm good with computers) lol. And the stubborn side...can I just blame that on genetics? ;)I have quite a few goals I want to accomplish in life, but my lifelong dream has always been to own a few acres out in the country with several horses.     I'm trying this site again. Let's see if there is anyone who can actually prove to me that love does exist. I am a full time mom to a wonderful little boy who is my everything. We are a package deal and just because something is right for me, it might not be right for him and I will always do what is right for him.
