About Me

I'm at that point in my life where I have most things figured out, except that missing person to share my life with. I've spent so much time focusing on my career that it's made it hard to meet and connect with someone.So, here's hoping I can find someone on this site that is genuine and doesn't just want a quick hook up. I'd like to get to know someone first, and hope to click with them. I'd rather not chat forever online. Chat a few times, then meet works for me so we can see in person if we match up well. I'm not a picky eater. I'd love to travel more and have someone to travel with. Right now I settle for road trips and weekend adventures. I like to lead a healthly lifestyle as best I can by eating healthy and going to the gym as often as I can drag myself there. Some days it's hard for sure. I've fallen off the fitness wagon a time or two, or three, but who hasn't?     I think the best way to describe myself is well-rounded. I enjoy everything from riding my Harley and flying, to outdoor activities, sporting and cultural events, music and the arts, etc. I come from a government/military background and have lived in several countries, am very fond of travelling and make an effort to go on at least one or two international trips a year...full of history, architecture, rich food and not one, but two, vodka museums with samples galore. :) I definitely have an appetite for adventure and embrace the 'life is short' philosophy! I'm forthright, passionate, confident, driven and have a desire to constantly learn and excel at new things. If you couldn't tell from some of the pictures, having a sense of humor, being goofy and able to laugh at yourself is part of keeping a well balanced life :-) My friends say I have the versatility to go from tomboy to girly girl in 0 to 10 and fit into almost any setting or situation with ease. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it's a nice compliment nonetheless. I'm also a Latin woman, which means I come with a feisty demeanor and lots of curves (so if you're looking for the waif-like/slender type, I'm not it). I somehow got coerced into co-owning a small business and contracting for the government. (Still haven't figured out exactly how that happened lol) So there are a lot of crazy hours, driving/travel and living out of a suitcase involved. I am hopeful that the insanity will calm down soon though. I tend to be attracted to strong, secure, non- I want a partner...someone to be challenged by physically, emotionally and intellectually and vice versa. That's easier said than done, but I know it's possible :) Obviously the profile says I'm looking for a relationship, but who knows what I'll find...perhaps a travel partner, new riding buddy, future business referral, general friend or the great love of my life-- :) How does the shooting range and then dessert sound? lol

    My personality in one word is actually HAPPY! And a happy person said I had to check this site out. I've worked for an online dating service before, so I didn't think it would hurt to try. There are so many stories, so many people...I am the type of person who stays busy, but busy in the sense that I can drop one thing to do another.
