I am a college student pursuing my bachelors in Human Resources Management, with an AA in Business. I served 12 years in the Army both active and National Guard. I am a goal driven person with a huge love for country dancing and singing. Trust me, you'd be surprised. I am a very open minded person. I prefer the country to the city and love the outdoors. I don't watch sports but I love to play them.I may have spent the last eight years behind a desk but I am handy. I also did some time running heavy equipment. Honesty and good morals are a must. Some past mistakes are forgivable and I do believe that some people change, but mostly they don’t. I do not expect that everyone has their life together but you should be happy with yourself and where it is going or working to make it that way. Negativity is a terrible trait. Shyness is ok but you shouldn’t be afraid to get in with a new group of people and have a good time. I have goals and children that are everything to me so I expect understanding and support just as I would give. I do not appreciate close mindedness or prejudice. I have very open religious views and a very open minded perspective on life and how others should be treated. I try to surround myself with people who are similar. Life is too short to over think the things that don’t really matter or to judge others.     What I like to do is not the same as who I am, but I guess it's a good place to start.I love:Music - I'm a bit of an indie snob. So that's a little nutshell of what I like to do. Who I am...I'm politically liberal and have a few issues about which I'm passionate. I'm kind of a home body but would love to meet someone who wants to break up my routine a little. I'm shy and it takes me awhile to warm up to new people, which makes it hard to meet people. But once I'm comfortable with someone, I loosen up. I'm blunt and will say exactly what I'm thinking. In the right situation I can be that girl who will get on top of a chair/table and dance to Lady Gaga. I don't like people who are uptight or pretentious. I am LDS. I was inactive for many years, mostly due to the conflict of my personal politics vs. those of the church, but have recently started going again. I'm still trying to find my footing but would prefer to date a like-minded LDS person. But prefer doesn't mean require. I'm open to all possibilities.
