My friends describe me as an intelligent person with a somewhat dry – and a bit silly – sense of humor. I like watching the world at play and/or being front and center of all the action. I also have a serious side and enjoy good conversations about current events / social issues. But, typically I’m quite comfortable in the company of jokesters. I'm grateful for my dear friends, family and daughter. I'm hoping to attract a man whose packed away his baggage and can come to a relationship without any carry-ons….sorry for the cliché’ but that just about says it all. I try to be diligent about making this earth sustainable and a more humane place to live...or better yet for my child to live.I’m not a big fan of reading a bunch of rules posted by a profile’s author. However, saying that – I haven’t had much luck with this online dating thing – and can understand some of the logic behind that move. So, here’s a couple “guidelines” in the areas that have tended to make my spine prickle a bit.Putting this as delicately as I can – just because I’m nice to you doesn’t automatically mean I’m giving you the girlfriend-greenlight nor does it mean I want to be your “exclusive” (a term that seems to be trending lately.) I was just raised to be friendly and polite and I need a little bit more time then 3-dates (okay, four if you count the coffee date) to give up my singles status.Also, although I work in the field of education, please don’t assume that I’m a teacher. In fact, past experience has shown me that you aren’t going to be real thrilled with exactly what I do in the public school system…and no, I’m not a principal. Don’t get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for teachers – I just couldn’t do what they do. Also, I’m sorry to hear that a few of you “fear, fantasize or generally freak-out” about writing to a teacher. Come on now, it’s not their fault if you’re a bad speller. (Well, maybe it is – let’s not sweat the small stuff.) I think that sums it up. Two small hints and hopefully you will understand the humor intended. If not – good luck out there and boldly move on with your search.

    City girl raised by country folks, I learned to cook soul food, cornbread in the skillet and stuffed shrimp. However, homemade hot chocolate with marshmallows is a good reason to light the fireplace.I'm a certified casino dealer and enjoy visiting casinos around the country.. Would enjoy just having someone to share our time together. Let's meet for a simple afternoon drink (coffee, martini, or just some ice tea). Even some ice cream at Kay's Ice Cream or Hot Fudge Cake at Buddy's, simplicity can be the best. Perhaps, we could share a picnic in the mountains or meet at a food court so we could explore the varieties they hold. Come on and let's explore new places.
