Looking for: man. In age: 50-60
I am an independent woman, with a great sense of humor! I have a good job, that I love most of the time. I like the beach; the feel of the sand under my feet, and the sound of the ocean. I like to take country drives to old small towns to explore.About the one I'm looking for...I'm looking for a man who does not have a lot of baggage, has a sense of humor, and one who is honest, and respectful. He also must have a steady job, and financially secure.

Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
I like basically all types of music when in the right setting. I like to have fun and laugh. I like to experience new things. I like to go to Zumba, Salsa Lessons, travel, walk, read, movies, coffee shops, casinos, shopping, watch sports at Sports Bars or live, happy hours, plays, museums, etc, etc........ I think an initial meeting at say happy hour to have a drink then see if there is any chemistry for friendship or relationship and go from there......Who knows? We might be attracted and want to continue the meeting on into dinner or a movie.

Okay. Just need to say that I'm looking for a man that is dealing in the reality of himself and what he wants for today. Not what he wishes he could have had back in the day. I'm me today, looking for a man my own age dealing with the reality of what our age brings us. The good, the bad and the happily forever. I’m not so sure that writing about one’s self and then looking through photos is the best way of finding the “one”, but I do find it to be a better level above the bar scene, so here I am! And the chance of finding the “one” online has the same chance as hitting the lottery, but still we play. If for nothing else, it keeps hope alive. And as my luck would go (never having hit the lottery), my soul mate is a wee bit challenged in his pursuit of finding me. If and when he finds me, of course, that womanly cynicism goes away. LolI’m not really as impatient as it sounds. I’ve been single for 8 years after a long marriage. I don’t need someone in my life just because I may be lonely, nor do I want someone who is willing to settle just for the relief of loneliness. I work hard & do well for myself, so I’m not attracted to men who flaunt their toys or money. The treasures I look for are in the heart of the man, not in his pockets. However, being old school, I’m also not inclined to be the bread winner either. That’s such a turn off for me. Being comfortable in a balanced relationship is foundational. ( That sounds so romantic, eh? Lol)I would describe myself as a very loyal, honest, attentive woman. I’m very out-going, friendly and funny as hell. I could never take myself too seriously. My alter-ego is a comedienne. I have never met a stranger even among the hard to tolerate crowd. Children, old people, service men and women and animals are my passions. I have a gentle, giving heart and always take supreme care of those I consider mine. When I love, it’s with my whole heart and soul. When it’s right, why hold back, eh? In other words, I’m not jaded. As for what I’m attracted to in a man, it’s a crap-shoot. Lol!! Looks are not as important to me as his heart and mind. If you’re prettier than me, go get a modeling job! If you flaunt your toys and money, go get a hoe. Its easy to spot the difference between pride of effort and flaunting. He’ll need to be a quick thinker on the funny side, but not goofy. He has a heart of compassion and lots of quick witted humor. Finding joy in the little things like doing dishes together, letting me help him in his hobbies or vice versa is always a plus. He’-minded to my opinions, no matter how off they may seem to be. There’s always a possibility of that, though rare. Lol! He can respect my pride as much as I respect his ego and has no control or anger management issues. I’m terrible at training people, so he will be what he is and that will work for me. I do have a quantity of enabling in me, but there IS a limit. FYI: I take it as an insult when the first attempt at communication is based on sex or sexual in nature. I see it as very selfish behavior. Please pass me by before you try. There is such a thing as a compliment void of sexual intent. I’m better than most at sexual innuendo, but if you’re not “him”, you‘re SOL. An intellectual conversation on any subject laced with graceful humor would be a good start. As you can see by my photos, I'm not into glamor photos. I take my photos at home. I'm not one to post a photo that isn't recent. I want you to see and like it as it is today, not 20 years ago. I am what I am, so it is what it is. My hair is actually very long, red and curly. It will fall on you like gentle silk, if you're the one. It's just me, today. Like it or leave it, please. If it's not attractive to you, move on.Just a warning: if you try dragging me to a white-tie affair, I may just disappear. Not crazy about the “dressing up to have people look and drool events”. lolPS. I'm a political conservative. If you're not a conservative, you may want to rethink contacting me. My soapbox is rather high. lol! But not to inject limitations, I have a sense of the absurd, and realize that my soulmate would just happen to be a liberal. lol!!!PSS.... You must believe in God, and have at least a desire to know Him better, because His Hand is firmly on me, for better or worse. I work long weekday hours with a long commute so weekends are best for me. Drinks and nibbles at an outdoor waterside bar is appealing to me for a first meet and greet. If you take me out for huevos rancheros for brunch, ( I like to sleep in on the weekends), you may just be the "one".
