Hello, I' m looking for that special someone who is open to meeting a cancer survivor with an apparent scarring from surgery. This is a lot to ask of someone anyone so I am being forward about it so there are no surprises or bs. Having survived cancer has given me a different outlook on life that's for sure. I like meeting new people who are not judgemental. I have hobbies such as camping and fishing going to movies and of course shopping lol. As for goals I think I made the biggest one and I'm above dirt so what more could I ask for....... My idea of a first date would be to meet somewhere for coffee or maybe a drink spend a bit of time together to see if there is an attraction, I don 't want to waste anyone's time that's for sure. If we find we would like to see each other again then we could make plans for a second meeting if we're both interested.

I would want to feel safe, so it should be in a public place, but allow for private conversation. The most important aspect of a first date is both should be able to walk away knowing each other well enough to know if they are interested in a second date.

To put it very simply ~ It doesn't take much to make me happy. I like nice thing but I'm not materialistic! I like attention but I'm not needy! I'm a very spiritual person who loves spending time with family and friends. I adore my daughter and grandchildren and I love LSU and Saints football! I enjoy boiled crawfish and bonfires! Honesty and trust are MUSTS in my book. I think communication and mutual respect are very important! I'm an independent woman with a good job. I own my own home and car and I'm not looking to someone to take care of me financially. I'm not wealthy when it come monetary things but I am rich beyond measure because of my family and friends! I'm a closet smoker, meaning that i don't smoke many and i dont smoke every day. I'm actually pretty ashamed of this bad habit! lol. My precious grandchildren don't even know! I hope to God I can quit before they suspect and ask because I couldn't lie to them about it!!! LOL. I'll like to meet a nice man who loves children and enjoys family and friend times as well as doing things, just the two of us! Coffee and conversation or something simple for a first date is always nice. Maybe a walk along the river. Someplace fairly quiet to allow for some good conversation and get to know each other!
