Where to start? Okay, first off, to be clear, I'm a BBW and not "a few extra pounds." If that's okay with you, then you might just find you like me! :) I'm pretty sure there is more to me than just my size. Not everyone is blessed with having all the answers, being in the right place at the right time, having made all the right choices in life, having access to supportive family and friends, etc. That is probably why I have had the same job for 28 years in the legal/social services field.I have one adult son and two gorgeous grandchildren, all of whom I adore and are important factors in my life. I would like to meet someone who is fun, likes to kid around and laugh but can be serious when necessary, enjoys some of the things I do and who might be willing to introduce me to new things. I like to make people happy and do things to show them I care about them. I'm not looking to serial date and would prefer that you are not either. I'm pretty tolerant and open minded, but I'm not looking to just hook up. I'd like to start a "relationship" on something more than just that. Soooo.... ;) To meet for coffee, drinks, a meal...somewhere quiet enough to actually have a conversation.

I would like to find someone close to home to date, maybe more. I love all the seasons that the PNW offers. I enjoy road trips to where ever times premits. Whomever I am with will need to be comfortable with holding hands... in public. I am a affection person and like showing it. I am not a fancy gal. I would rather have Daisies then Roses. I like to go to dinner every once in a while but happy with a nice dinner at home too. I usually have a Mary Poppins attitude with my every day life.Some things I like are, old barns, the smell of the ocean, finding small ways to pay it forward, antiques, milk chocolate, hot tea, and sweet tea. Tried cross country ski and snow shoeing, enjoy both, I need to spend more time to really get the hang of them both.I enjoy a wide verity of things:Football, Fishing, Volunteering, Nascar, Gardening,Baking Shock Football, Parades, Short Hikes, Cooking, Sewing, Car Shows Hockey games, Fairs, Monster Trucks, Kayaking, Social group events. Fall is here! I'm enjoying the fall colors, and what better way to see them is with a few more kayak trips and some short hikes. Looking for someone is a lot tougher than I thought it would be. Don't you all agree? Although many say the same thing. I think maybe we all get hung up on pictures. Looks are a great thing to have but let's face it, we are in our 50's or close to it.
